About how fast does a baby snapper grow as in how big will he be in two years from hatchling size because Im interested in getting one and yes I have cared for turtles before I had a RES for a few years
not too big they grow slow they grow about an inch a year or max 2 inches and yeah im getting a snapper too! ad ive had 2 RES's for 4 years, and this is will be my 3rd turtle soon(getting him soon)
do you have a job or parents that will help pay for it cause they get 5x the size of a RES and a box and they eather need 125+ gallons or a small pond and eat ALOT and once you get it theres no returing it to the wild it will die and it might not even be legal for you to own one and they are VERY messy my bowser's a lil bigger then this one and without a filter i have to change the water every 4 days and pick Minnow head out of the gravle
i have one and he went from hatchling to 6inches in a year and i got him the day he hatched
