This story is so slow in narrative, that it could have beeen told in four issues. And it isnt a new concept, the sleeper agents, the infiltrarion, was all part of the Millenium saga DC launched back on 1988, yes Secret Invasion copied most of that, a big disapointment , I know it was an event comic, but such low quality, the artwork was so rashed, the characterization was so poor. Classics stories as the Kree -Skrull war, or the Korvac Saga, really make this look like the work of amateurs

I think marvel made Civil War first so they would separate the heroes ol'cap dies, then secret invasion brings them together,norman kills the skrull queen,then dark reign happens just so the marvel heroes are brought back AGAIN and fight the dark avengers, they REALLY know how to make an awesome story line.

There's somthing i still not get in the transition from civil war to secret invasión and dark reign. Just a simple one, why no one seems to know the identities of some of the pro reg heroes, like Spiderman i remember seeing jj seeing peter on tv taking his mask off, but Now on dark reign not even the avengers knew his identity not until the coma girl part. What did i miss?. Havnt finished so if there's snything like that after june dont tell me lol.

The whole idea of the Skrulls capturing and imprisoning most of marvel's most powerful demons like Lilin & Satannish was to unbelievable. If the Skrulls were that powerful, they wouldn't have had to pose as heroes to infiltrate the hero society. It was just a cheap way to try and include as many marvel characters (dead or living) within one crappy storyline.

Marvel hasn't had a good storyline in years. It's all about one over the top story that spans all the titles and countless tie in titles and then they merchandise it to death with toys & paperbacks. Civil war drug on way to long, as did Secret Invasion and Dark Reign has been boring. Secret Invasion felt like it was written by 9 year olds. Stupid ideas like the crash alien shape that contained forgotten heroes who then turned out to be skrulls but they didn't realize it.

Why doesn't anybody realize that the whole point and the true meaning behind this whole civil war secret invasion story line is that it 's basically representing the current situation of the american government and the rest of the world. Harry Osborne becoming the leader represents how the elite hijacked all are systems and leaders while working in the shadows under there own agenda. Harry Osborne is marvels "Obama" he's the intelligent well spoken hero that every body admires.

Marvel rly missed it with Norman Osborn part... id put Nick Fury as leader of the Avengers and lock Iron Man to prison. Iron Man got what he deserved from Civil War (ha! he gets his ass flatened by Hulk in World War Hulk and couldnt even stop the Skrull Invasion and everone lost his trust upon him) and ill disagree bout ur saying in everyone deserved to suffer in civil war. only those who began it, should be suffered: Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic and Hank Pymm.

I don't know about that. The American public pretty much chose Osborne with their inexplicable adulation of him. There is no forgiveness for stupidity, don't you know. Stark and Richards didn't start the civil war they only made it worse (which is why I firmly believe Miriam Sharpe must die a degrading death, SHE started it... oh, and Maria Hill FOR SHOOTING AT CAP)

The point is that Marvel is now in a dark phase, and after Norman is overthrown things should get better (i.e. the SHRA ending)

Aww Kevin you forgot the most important part, how Norman knew how to kill the queen. The merc with the mouth Deadpool was hired by Nick Fury to infultrate a skrull ship and steal the bio data on the queen. He went in kicked super Skrull butt and got the data. But before the transfer could get to Fury, Norman intercepted it and used it for his own use.

If I'm not mistaken, my favorite of the Avengers was onto the Skrull queen from the start, though it was easy to get that mixed with just no getting along with Spider-Woman. (Black Widow.)
