    I use windows movie maker

  • thanks but could u please tell me how. i woul like to follow your foot steps :)

  • within Windows Movie Maker there is the facility to "Speed Up Double" in Video Effects. Apply that effect 1 or up to 6 times and hey presto

    cheers

    Rob

  • thanks a million

  • isn't this kinda like the old-fashioned technicolor process? not sure, impressive vid

  • impressive shit.

  • Good !JoB!!! Greetings from Poland!

  • your dog was falling asleep! nice work

  • That turned out really good.

Didn't really get how it worked, but that was quite a good idea for the dog to be in it. Sort of gets people hooked.

  • oooooooooooo is it kind of like batik art just with a rubbery thingy instead of wax?

  • yes, I think it is not unlike batik

  • Amazing. Great work.

  • Very interesting technique, although I dont understand why there are multiple layers of differant colours applied when the end result is essentially... black?

  • No, not black but the result of multiple layers of Red Pthalo Blue and Burnt Umber. I only showed an edited version of all the layers going on. You can see better photos of this technique by clicking the link in the video description. 20% goes to Afghanaid

  • It was good, but the most interesting bit was watching your dog.

  • i don t get how it works and i'm NOT DRUNK!!! lol! very prettiful and very interestin!!! xoxoxox

    [x][hayley][x]

  • Well, he painted a rubber solution into the canvas where he wanted the white spaces to be. Then he covered all of the canvas with raint and peeled off the rubber, leaving the parts it was covering as white and revieling the picture.

  • Interesting! I don't get it how it works tho, probably cuz I'm drunk.

  • very beautiful!

I love art but cant seem to find the talent in myself to express it :P

    Very well painted :)

  • nice

  • I am a bright light. Welcome to Albania.

  • im confused why did you put so many layers of different colored paint on top of each other? did the colors not matter and it was just for thickness?

  • I think that the kind of effect and colour that he was going for is best achieved by putting thin layers of differnt colours on top of each other. As opposed to mixing the colour and then painting it on. It looks different.

  • I LIKE!!

  • Wow really clever technique, likin it

  • Fantastic!

  • wow

  • AMAZIN

  • all those colours and it just came out black

  • Not quite black.

  • that is brilliant

  • That was excellent! You have a very good talent there! But I owuld just like to ask you somthing... Your dog is very well trained if it will sit there for that long whilst your pulling off the rubber! How the hell do you do that chain it to the floor? Either way nice work, nice art! Well Done!

  • bribed him with a biscuit.......

  • thats amazing!!!

  • just cos u can't do it "stylesSessions"

  • awesome just plain awesome

  • Yes he was.

  • wow. that picture turned out amazing!

  • "It is an amalgamation of red ,blue and burnt umber. I make up all my "black" this way"

Very interesting, I like that. I also like the pink gradient you give the background, that really adds to the effect.

  • wow that picture amazin ndd so is that doog

  • cute dog!

  • woa thats awesome!

i cant believe the dog stayed there the whole time

  • lol

  • bribery.......... didn't you see the biscuit I threw him?

  • nice

  • You've got some real talent here and you've either got a lot of patience or just raw passion.

  • LOL at the dog ;]

  • This is worth watching just for the great footage of the Labrador...lol but seriously its a great piece of art work... would love that hanging on the wall.

  • wow amazing

  • wel first of all that dogs wel cute :) and 2ndly the pics amazing x

  • good, far better than i can ever do - i cant even draw matchstick men correctly or in perspective! But why not just use black? the end result is 'black'. Do you ever sell these pictures? How much do they sell for - this one for instance?

  • u talk too much

  • Doh!

  • Wow!

  • dog ate it

  • Very inspiring! I love the dog too... great stuff!

  • Your dog is great too!

  • Do you put the masking fluid onto the canvas or is it already upon it?

  • I "draw" the image as a negative picture

  • Amazing, but... why so many colours when the result is black and white?

  • Not quite black. It is an amalgamation of red ,blue and burnt umber. I make up all my "black" this way. See more examples by looking at the paintings in the link in the video description or view my other painting videos....thanks for your interest.

    Rob

  • Ohh interesting... seems a bit too time consuming when you could jst use black.

  • Awesome

  • im more interested in thaa dog thn yuurh panitn x

  • Cool dog!!!!!!!!!

  • Really nice. The image looks very much like an old style photocopy or threshold adjusted image. One thing I don't understand, though, why all the different colors when it comes out black in the end?

  • Not quite black. It is an amalgamation of red ,blue and burnt umber. I make up all my "black" this way. See more examples by looking at the paintings in the link in the video description or view my other painting videos....thanks for your interest.

    Rob

  • is that masking fluid? you peeled off at the end?

  • yes

  • That's very nice but why didn't you just screen print it or does your technique give it a a different texture?

  • Hi. the results are very like screenprinting, but you don't need all the expensive equipment to do this. It is also not unlike Batik art, where they use wax and fabric dyes. Take a look at my other videos for more examples. I like this technique because it gives great contrasts and the paint is allowed to do it's own thing. There are even more examples of my work accessible by clicking the link in the video description. Ta

    Rob

  • why so many colours?

  • what a cute dog............and a class painting but dont tell me what to do :(

  • incredible!

  • this is amazing!

  • that was amazing

  • that was awesome

  • nice dog

  • Great music. And wasn't the fast-forward dog hypnotic?

  • that is incredible

  • wow!

  • Very nice!

  • whats the point on putting all the different colours in, when its just black on top?

  • That was really good, havent seen something like this done before

  • i have zero hope of making anything like that. and you're dog is awesome

  • Wow!

Have no idea of the processes involved here, but did he do the majority of this piece (particularly right at the beginning) upside down?

  • correct..well spotted. I often draw upside down, because you then draw only what you see and not what you think should be there.

  • yeah I do that too, I teach my students to copy that style of upside down drawing but they all think i am nuts lol. its a fantastic style you have there by the way well done. How long does it take you to do a painting like that from start to finish?

  • Thanks, this was painted over 2 days. I use an optical mixing technique, one colour is applied and allowed to dry before another is applied (quite thinly) over the top. It takes a lot more time but dark tones are created that aren't so flat.

    Rob Lee

  • MaN hiS SOo gOod >< i luv what he did ><

  • wow thts agud painting

  • WOW it was really good and i think it reaffirms our faith in the neutrality of Gandhi.

  • I admit there's no utopia on the planet, but John Lennon would not have been shot dead if he had lived in the English countryside. Imagine how unfairly treated man's best friends are in some countries like Japan, USA and so on, not to mention China, Korea.

  • Uk isn't great as it looks from outside..This country has no moral, people here has 2faces and teen agers has no respect for olders,They will throw bricks from the bridges to the cars or trains just for fun killing drivers..,They will beat up someone for no reason because they are bored.. Drugs, alcohol and sex is also big problem here,, %60 woman has sex desease I heard if it's true..

  • But thats just the chav population

  • lol @ the dog

  • thaaaaats great

  • DAMN! hes a fast painter!

  • Thanks, this was painted over 2 days. I use the optical paint mixing technique, where one colour is applied, allowed to dry before another is applied quite thinly over the top. It takes more time but you get lively dark tones that are not flat. Watch my other painting videos for more examples of this technique. Cheers

  • I remember what Mahatma Gandhi said: "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." Unfortunately, Japan is not that great. Me and my dog want to live in the UK :)

  • Thats funny

    cos the UK's a s
