This is Charlie Parker ran through a computer. Im progressive but I would still rather hear the real Charlie Parker or a musician that can swing...end the end this is rather flat and overly intellectual...

Believe me, Steve Coleman can swing... I've heard him play straight ahead and it's amazing. You're missing the point of this, clearly. It's not supposed to swing because it's not swing. They're reinterpreting a classic in a modern setting. Read up on his concept, it's called M-BASE.
However, if swing is your thing, then I shouldn't care. This isn't for everyone, but if you're going to criticize it, at least understand it first.

Now like I said before: I got it...I don't want to hear this no more! Because I didn't give you the response you so desired makes you think I dont get the music. I get it. I got it...I'm done with it...
I dig all kinds of music, so it ain't cause i'm not on your or Steve's level. I have taken this in, and it's got it's own vibe, BUT it doesn't hold my attention for very long. And I can dance, but i don't want to dance to this!!
