You're a smart guy. You should look into "sensitivity training" or "attitude conditioning" which is performed via "classical conditioning" and "operant conditioning". We need to force the naive around is to be critical thinkers especially if we're gonna mobilize against police states.

I read it years ago; theres a bit in it about to be truly healthy; to have a healthy view of the world, you need to continually examine your "map" of truth,as truth isn't in a vacumn, it changes as the world changes. I found it really interesting as it kinda sums up how many ppl cling desperately to their old map, and fear exposing it to challenge/criticism as it rocks their own mental and emotional stability.
