Mace Windu crushed his chest just before the start of Episode 3. So there is no reason that Grievous wouldn't be able to do these moves. He does do the saber spinning in episode 3. However, the Clone Wars series grievous would be far more epic if they used this Grievous. The current one is far too underpowered and cowardly.

Grievous got really generous treatment in the Genndy Tartakovsky animated series but LucasArts took a huge dump on him in the movie and the new animated productions, possibly because they didn't want Anakin Skywalker to replace a more badass villain than Darth Vader. Any thoughts?

You know what ruins a perfectly good franchise? Trying to make it Kid Friendly. News Flash George, Kids were watching Star Wars before it was kid friendly and they loved it. For one and this is the one I accept over the other one is during the Huk/Kaleesh War Instead of siding with his Race the Kaleesh, The Republic sided with the Huk simply becuase they supplied the Republic with some sort of supplies and sent Jedi to help the Huk, Decimating the Kaleesh forces thus Stiring a hatred for Jedi in G.G.

Mace Windu Force crushes his chest before the third movie. Which is why he keeps coughing during it, and limits his mobility dramatically. He was able to beat jedi before by duing bizarre unfamiliar movements that jedi just couldn't physically keep up with despite the force and years of training. On top of destroying their moral before hand.

It was in commentary you hear the alternative reason which should not have been stated at all. What I do hate also they did is his design. You may think I am weird, but they ruin his feet. They are some kind of weird freaky bug feet instead of menacing raptor like feet. I will said this, they have talent for messing up a great thing.

I lost the comment about how Grievous should have escaped Utuapu, and ended up joining the rebellion in eps 4, 5, and 6.
I had just thought up Han, Leia, Chewbacca, R2 and C3PO...and General Grievous on the Milenium Falcon after leaving Hoth. That'd have been fun to watch.

Mace Windu Force crushes his chest before the third movie. Which is why he keeps coughing during it, and limits his mobility dramatically. He was able to beat jedi before by duing bizarre unfamiliar movements that jedi just couldn't physically keep up with despite the force and years of training.
