As for the nationalties question we had Kiwis, Aussies, Canadians, a Brazilian, a Brit, and a Yank.
The Villages weren't dodgy just a bit far out. Which was fine because I imagine it would cost an arm and a leg otherwise.
Anyone else find that everyone gets sick by the Cave/Barcelona?
I'm looking at booking a Contiki Europe tour for this summer, either one of the 35 or 47 day ones I think. I'm wondering, what are the Contiki Villages like? I've heard they can be kind of sketchy... but I'm thinking it's better than doing hostels on my own! lol Like are they normally pretty close to transport (i.e. tubes, trains, etc.) to get into the city? Were they mostly like 2 people cabins?? Looks like your trip was AMAZING!!! I can't wait!!!

Yeah 2 to a cabin is the norm some times you might get 4 to a room dorms

Thats a pretty full on holiday. You couldn't really get the full experience of the country's from just a couple of days in each one.

Yes, Out Tour had 6 Americans (as well as 5 Canadians, 15 New Zealanders 25 Australians, 1 From Brazil and 1 from Korea)
