Hey. From my understanding of the prophets, there will be some Israelites in the land prior to the return of the Messiah, but the full regathering will not happen until after his return. There are quite a few things that need to be done during that general time frame so I'm not necessarily sure that we will enter the land IMMEDIATELY after Yahoshua's coming. Also, I don't think that Yahoshua's return will be immediately after the 400 years is up.

The scriptures ARE "ethnocentrist"! They give are centred on the nation (ethnos) of Israel.
As for your specific point, the other nations which where Israelites have been scattered are not excluded. Those which have mistreated the Israelites will indeed be judged (Deut 30:7). But the 400 year one would be specific for the nation presently known as the USA.
But as ever, I'm very open to hearing some better potential fulfillment of this 400 year prophecy.

Hey. From my understanding of the prophets, there will be some Israelites in the land prior to the return of the Messiah, but the full regathering will not happen until after his return. There are quite a few things that need to be done during that general time frame so I'm not necessarily sure that we will enter the land IMMEDIATELY after Yahoshua's coming. Also, I don't think that Yahoshua's return will be immediately after the 400 years is up.

How do you resolve the conflict between the non fulfillment of this prophesy and the New Testament, specifically, the already first coming of Yahshua. The former needs to be fulfilled before the latter, yes? Or maybe it doesn't (starting to think out loud) but at the least it would mean that he can't return until after we return, because his return "ends" everything.

I've always thought that it would excellent to have films or even short features of biblical events. Even some animations would be fantastic. I wish I had the talent to do something like that. It's a possibility, but i'm not so sure it's true. The Hebrews sojourned in the area for appx. 400 years, and were only in bondage for about 80 of them. What you have to remember, however, is that African-Americans were certainly not in slavery for 400 years. Also, if you believe that continued discrimination counts in the time-frame, remember that the Hebrews were most likely discriminated against in Egypt as well.

That is a bit of a tough one. I think by this, the Most High probably means that the wickedness of this Canaanite tribe would not be fully punished until the Israelites return to the land and take permanent possession of it.

The prophecy to Abram is for the Israelites that descended from Abram, through his grandson Jacob, who was Israel.

I'd agree with you in that vengeance is not ours to dish out - it is the Most High's. He has explicitly said that HE will recompense the enemies of His people.
This being so, remember that many servants of the Most High openly exposed and condemned wickedness in high places. YirmeYah, EliYah, John the baptiser and the Messiah himself exposed the doings of wicked rulers.
Yes we don't try and kill them, but we do seek to make known their wickedness and their persecution of Yah's people.
