Agreed about Chester.
He just defies description.

It's what it is...!
Roger is awesome in his own right, but Chester just goes where you don't know.

Roger really kicks ass.
I must admit that Chester just came in and created 'the groove'.
It's hard to pick a favorite between the two, but Chester gets my vote for improvisiational funk.
Where Roger is formulaic; Chester is beyond perception...
