the funky intro is funking great !! I can't play the "thrill" at 0.09" ... it's mind blowing ! Adrien vraiment tu déchires ! Un gars aussi impressionnant si vous ne connaissez pas c'est Gwen Cahue, monstrueux aussi !
Moignard has a great mix of invention, swing, vocab, language and great time feel to top it all off. Can someone point me towards footage of him playing with lots of space?
The title is "impressions." As far as I'm concerned, Wes drove a stake into the tune's heart and killed it for all time. But Adrien's got some smokin' chops no doubt
At first, with the generic semitone chord switches, I was kind of unimpressed and had low expectations for the rest of the video. But MAN, this completely blew me away.
yeah and if you find a dead guy outside your house with 6 string imprints on his hands from holding on for dear life to that guitar, i had nothing to do with that...
Got the album online in a matter seconds after viewing these clips and website, a no brainer. Fresh, super creative, technical brilliance and very much nestled in the genre. Will be the album that sets the standard for years to come. By the looks of these cats they will top this with individual albums in less than 2 years! Hold on to your seats!

dude. the beginning is rhytmically very good.
Hucho 1 year ago
@Hucho Granted, but the amount of skill it takes to play the intro does not compare to the amount of skill it takes to play the rest of the song.
toejam10 1 year ago
I do not agree. Someone who can play the intro that good in the beat and with that feeling. You can bet he will play very good. It's all about detail

Well, we can agree to disagree.

It's dangerous territory to try a modal Trane song, but you pulled it off.
