I HATE THIS MOVIE. THE BOOKS WERE AWESOME. Someone with a milski to spare needs to really get another movie going. This series could easily be as good as the Harry Potter movie series. This movie was awful. It was even worse if you have read the books. I have read the series twice, and cringed when I saw this movie. It was nothing even close to the story of the books. It was supposed to be the first two books combined, but had things from books 1-5, and it added stupid things like a monkey girl.... so dumb... I really want them to remake it according to the books, maybe then it will sell better and be a decent movie so that more people will read the books. The movie was sad.

this movie SUCKS!! It's just barely the story from the books!! Okai, the technical tricks looks simply stunning, but the story just blows. Darran and Steve are so gay, I think they screw eachother in the butt every night because they get so bored from watching this film. Make a TV serie or something for darren shan but don't make a crappy movie, trying to squeeze multiple books in one film including gay, childish actors. Wish I didn't see it. And yes I am a huge fan of darren shan!!

i imagine Mr crepley to looked a bit fairer, not handsome but more like a worn skin, pale, dark eyed, bony, 25 year old. I don't know if that explains it well enough. The trailer proves to be quite different to the book, I don't remeber them buring him in the coffin with a game boy, I also remeber Mr Crepsley digging 'in' the hole, although the hitting Darren in the leg with the spade was funny. I also remeber him giving a lot of resistance to him becoming a vampires assistant...that's all gone.
