Its so sad that at the end of all hes been through in the last 2 episodes, series 4, heck everything from Series 1 episode 1, he ultimately ends up back at square 1, alone, the Last of the Time lords

i find it difficult to understand some of david tennant's lines...he kinda mumbles some of them...anyways....yes it's sad, but that's what makes it all so compelling...perfect, happy endings are boring i guess...well written and acted all around...first time seeing this, and it's great...don't know if i want to watch the new series

I feel so bad for him! That last scene where he was like "Donna, I was just going..." and she kind of brushes him off... You could tell that he was really reluctant and kind of hoping for her to say a real goodbye. It sucks for him!

I feel so sorry for the Doctor. He lost his one True Love (Rose) and his best friend (Donna) - all in the same day. To make matters worse, he will have to live with two painful pieces of knowledge - that the human version of him will be living the life with Rose that he so desperately dreamed of , and that his best friend will go through the rest of her life never remembering him or the good times that they shared. And he has all of time to be haunted by it. The downside of being Time Lord.

@BareBodyNbriefs rose manipulated the outcome of the situation to be this way when she absorbed the time stream. from rose's perspective she wanted to be with the doctor, she wanted to have her father, she wanted her mom to not be lonely and in the end she got all that she wanted... bad wolf led her to the place she wanted to be...
