  • Well said sir. Before I consider a harsh or critical comment I now check the persons feed. If they produce nothing, but comment on how others should be doing stuff I just laugh it off. I find myself laughing more.

Found your channel from Hickok45's channel. I'll be subscribing, and it looks as if you have over a hundred more videos to check out, nice.

  • @Pheasant815 Negative comments still really get to me no matter who sends them or where I see them because it's like arson, a cowardly act that's somewhat easy to get away with. That's why the law punishes arson almost as bad as first-degree murder.

Thank you for the kind remarks, and always remember the phrase - "Just block and Delete".

    Don't feed the trolls.

  • @theKGB65 Wise advice!

  • well said

  • Well do not take this the wrong way but I think you are using the same mind trick on this video.I like your videos but that works both ways an if what are you saying come from the heart well sir. I apologize....

  • @marselmarku We are united in our desire to maintain private firearms ownership so it's in our best interest not to fight one-another as the world looks on. No tricks.

  • very well said, sir

  • You are absolutely right but I don't understand why it has to be repeated and repeated... Just treat every human friendly (I'm not religious but if you know the 10 commandments you should know what I mean) non gun guy or gun guy. I hate people that pick on others just because they are wearing strange clothes, look different or have different opinions. Treat everyone like you want to be treated and all is fine. If they insult you, just ignore it and go away, that's my way.

  • @bfgguns People who adopt your way of relating to others probably live a better life so I'm sure it pays off. Throw poison and some always gets back on you, like pissing in the wind.

  • Haters gonna hate!

Keep the vids up! I really enjoy them.

  • @lunchboxtheman It's just that simple, I suppose. Thanks.

  • Great insight, thanks!

  • @skankmuffin Thanks, Skank-.

  • The internet is full of dumbasses who talk big while hiding behind a computer screen, in person they probably can't do squat. I just ignore them or shoot them down then block them, gotta have a little fun screwing with them sometimes puwahaha. Please continue to make videos, many of us enjoy your work!

  • @ARX7ARBALESTZ7 Will do. Thank you.

  • it means youre doing it right.

  • @locknloadvideo Good way to look at it!

  • negative comments make me giggle.

  • @locknloadvideo Me, too, when they're directed at me but when I see them on other people's channels, people who are trying to do something positive and worthwhile it makes my blood boil.

  • @theKGB65 but to make you rage is their goal. So you should just giggle. Idk how to explain. Im kinda drunk right now..... Get back with me in afew ahhahahhahah

  • Haters just want the attention. I guess it makes them feel better about themselves.

  • @OneMansSanctuary Actually, that does make a lot of sense. We're all a bunch of nobodies out here and only the ones with video cameras are getting the hoopla.

  • You are so right , you are a diplomat ! . I have heard ole Hickok 45 and John talk about negative comments. All I keep saying to myself is do not let it get to you and please , please keep making your video's. Some people have not lead happy lives and just get their kicks out of bringing good people down. Oh by the way , I really enjoy your video's and hope you keep making them. Take Care.

  • @MrRichardbryan We all encourage one another to just "delete, block, and forget" but I don't know anyone who is tough enough to not be bothered by this stuff occasionally. I remember, a long time ago, when Hickok was under some serious fire for that "Poe's Revenge" video he made. Some troll and his friends ganged up on poor Hickok because, apparently, they thought the crow was real. He PM'd me for help, which I did, but the whole mess ended up getting deleted.

    Thanks for all your support!

  • Well said!.Lately i have notices a few channels bickering back and forth about something...exactly what..I have no idea..something to do with new web sites or something..Anyway, one guy doesn't even make vids about guns anymore..Just hate vids...these guys are all in their 40's and 50's and act like they are still in grade school.talking about how fat or how short someone is...It is really getting to be a joke..Seems like people thrive on drama..Lets get back to Guns, knives and survival stuff!

  • @dakdak88 Thank you, I'm in that age category and also get called fat, occasionally. Just had another, "U fat" comment yesterday on my Glock 23 video. What's the deal with guys worrying about other guy's proportions? Maybe this country is slowly becoming like Sodom and Gomorrah and it's a transitional form of homosexuality.

Seriously though, I agree with you, lets shoot guns, build fires, sharpen our knives, and eat some MREs.

  • Dont worry about the haters. They KNOW they are losers and could never do anything with their lives. Thats gotta be rough on them. They are going to die with no name. No one is gonna know who they were. Its pretty sad and pathetic. Just keep your videos comin man. Keep your head up

  • @DANGERTASTIC Every thing is okay here and I'll keep doing this stuff as long as I have friends who want to see it. It would just be very cool if more people could join in the fun of packing a video camera in the gun bag and letting the rest of us get to know them without their having to worry about getting hammered by trolls. Thanks for the supportive comment.

  • It is the nature of people to be like that. Think their bad now, take a look at them when their in a world of shit. I think your putting too much faith in your fellow man. Keep up with the vids as a lot of us like them.

  • @bronk5150 Thanks, Mr. Bronk. You could be right about human nature, but either way, the main thing is that we don't do any political damage that would nullify the good work of the NRA and other organizations that promote logical freedom. The outside perception thing becomes more critical when you're broadcasting with video. Not quite the same as two guys arguing at the local tavern parking lot.

  • Good video, made sense.

  • Great points my friend.

  • Very well said. You make so many great/important points. Thanks.

  • tackled some really good points

  • Another outstanding vid, you are one of the top channels on YouTube in my opinion and a lot of other people agree with me I'm sure.

I couldn't agree with the content of this vid more, very well said. On most days it seems to me that Manners, Honor, Respect, and class have went the way of common sense!

Proud to call you friend! Don't even entertain the idea of quitting, too many of us would miss you, and Eugene ;D

    Stay safe

  • @1AbominAble1 Thanks, man, that means a lot. Personally, I don't get too many bad remarks but seeing them on other channels has the same nauseating effect. There have been a few really good people here that just got fed up and either stopped posting or pulled the plug completely. thefirearmschannel and kickintheballs2000 are two examples. I'll be here, my friend, and hopefully, so will you.

  • How would you define a "negative comment"? If your comment is true, relevant and intended to correct someone teaching dangerously bad habits, is criticizing their video content "negative"? Some things are obvious, like profanity, name-calling and sarcastic abuse, but people have differing opinions about what constitutes "negativity".

  • @bddc201 It's a comment that is predictably not welcome on the host's channel. Most come from people who have - "Uploads (0)" on their own channel.

  • @theKGB65 Gee guy, that sounds kind of vague and subjective. And what's the big sin with not having any uploads? Not everyone wants to participate the same way. A reply like that has an almost passive-agressive tone. Should that be considered negative? Just curious.

  • Amen brother.

  • Great point. One thing we, who are interested in common sense and dignity, have to understand is that society is degenerating exponentially. I've had people argue with extreme anger, the fact that it is somehow ok to use the most foul language they can come up with. When ever and where ever they want. More and more people are getting their "Class" from a trash can. It's truely sad.

  • @GothicGlocks Hope we're not on some kind of predictable cycle that ultimately degrades to self destruction, here. But I don't want to sound like and alarmist, either. Back in the 1970s people used to do this same sort of thing anonymously on the CB radios. Also there was the ol' crank phone calls which went away pretty darn fast when caller ID came around.

  • Comment removed

  • Well said!

  • @joe2020jack ditto

  • Could not agree more sir. Thanks for taking the time to share.

  • KGB VERY VERY GOOD VIDEO!! This hits the nail right on the head. Very wise words.

  • BRAVO! I certainly agree with you about negative comments & those comments that are meant to disrespect or degrade someone because of their background, heritage, or love for this sport. I've never gone on anyones channel & corrected their video or content, nor have I ever disrespected anyone & put their work & efforts down by assuming what they know is inadequate or wrong, but I get disrespected on a daily basis & its starting to get old. I've blocked more channels over the last year than ever

  • @awomansworld123 It surprises me that a well spoken person such as yourself would have to deal with so much garbage. I guess some people just can't stand it when a woman is clearly more intelligent and successful than they are. I really need to get over to your channel more often and lend some support.

  • Good video Well said. You just need to ignore negitive comments I would never put a negitive comment on any gun video, i may have a differance of opion tha'st not negitive.

  • @mcrafton89 You are one of the good guys, thanks.

  • I also very highly agree nice vid bro...

  • NRA = AWESOMENESS

  • @TheVapSter It was my intention to also mention that when shooters act badly on the internet it's like giving campaign money to Diane Feinstein and Chuck Schumer.

  • I like this video a lot and agree.

  • @jboritzki Thanks, liked your Sig .22 videos, too.

  • Spot-on commentary. I feel that some of the channels in this community that were active a year or so ago have gone inactive because of exactly what you said. Those who abuse this tremendous visual learning forum simply don't want to learn. Take the time to educate those who clearly crave it. I have a tendency to toy with obvious troublemakers, but the best recourse for the channel, your viewers, and your health, is to surgically remove their footprints and possibility of reappearing.

  • @tnoutdoors9 You are a YouTube Master and always come up with good advice and comments. Tell you what, there were a few times when I would have been done with this if it hadn't been for the support I get from my friends, here.

Hard to believe that even guys like you take heat, remember the wheel barrow video?

  • @theKGB65 I loved his wheel barrow video, it was great.

  • @theKGB65

Yeah, the wheelbarrow vid was about half a dozen "trolled" videos ago. Anything I post out of the norm or what appears to be impossible (but is not) typically gets more negative comments or ratings.

We truly need to support each other.

  • I appreciate you, your message and your videos.

  • @dclement7 Good to hear, appreciate the kind support.

  • Well said. Although it's a bit more effort I keep the comments on my videos "pending approval" to keep stupid/rude/offensive comments out. I delete any offensive comments and will block those who I feel are truly trouble making.

  • @314299 That is a good way to do things and I'd do that too but it seems like about half of the comments never make it to my in-box for some reason.

  • @theKGB65 And it's only a manageable strategy with a smallish channel.

  • Great comments and good analogy with the gun range. Most people wouldn't dare criticize another person at the range. However, they feel "free" to let there rude comments fly in the security of their own home. Constructive criticism is different from name calling and immature comments. I appreciate when someone tells me something constructive, that is how we learn. God bless.

  • @fumasterchu12 Thanks. Yea, same here. Had a couple comments about my bad habit with revolvers where I leave my support thumb hanging out there near the front of the cylinder and though I haven't got it blown apart in 25 years it's still not a safe way to hold a wheel gun.

  • well said sir. Block, Delete, forget! mabye a cuss word ot three lol

  • @Brandon401401 You bet, we can beat them! Can't believe anyone would leave any bad remarks over there on your channel. Not like they are going to tell you how to hit the steel faster, or anything!

  • Very well spoken sir..point taken...

  • everything you said is so true

  • I love your videos, keep em comin! dont let the f*ckers get to you! I'll try to post a vid when Ill get better with the cam lol.

  • @Drulil That would be great, thanks.

  • Respect.

  • @Crustymarine Same here.

  • Because they are 13 years old and play Call of Duty 20 hours a day. We have several audiences. The mature gun enthusiast, the ones who want to do away with guns and the kids who play video games and think they rule because they have 1000 kills on COD. Look at FPS and how any subscribers he has. Unfortunately the immature gun enthusiasts rules YouTube, They don't understand honor, dignity or maturity. Nice video!

  • @ArtisanTony Hard to believe we're becoming the old people already, eh, Tony? Thank you for your thoughtful comment.

  • @ArtisanTony I think you got it exactly right. Almost all really stupid comments I see appears to come from the gamers who probably haven't seen a real gun. But, there seems to be a few of the mature gun enthusiast who might be a little too thin skinned to put themselves out there in public and react too harshly to criticism instead of just ignoring and/or blocking the trouble makers.
