vegetarian vs non vegetarian?
sakai is a sure winner

What a contrast in approaches; a Buddhists simple natural approach vs. a French chefs overindulgence of culinary excess. I don't think a vegetarian approach can win in kitchen stadium but should be entertaining and educational.

I think it would have been hilarious if they gave the buddhist monk a meat theme of some sort lol <_<

Although that would totally put the challenger at a huge disadvantage, I think it would be funny too.

@Kiyala haha he would have prolly refrained from using the theme then...
he would cooke vegetarian style, despite knowing he'd lose the battle. It would have shown his true passion to show the purity of his cuisine ;o lol
