But I can't figure out which one I would choose if I could have just 1. Most likely I think I'll choose the Remington 870, but I'd just like to know ur opinion on the matter.
you cant go wrong with any of them, I personally love the Win 1300 defender but they are harder find as Winchester doesn't make them anymore. The 590 is a little bit tougher version of the 500 and some 590s even come with a m16 type bayonet lug for zombie slaying when you are running from the undead and you are out of ammo lol. The 870 is the gold standard, and has tons of aftermarket parts for it and its super common to find one. Again, all are very great zombie slayers so get one!!
no problem, but for shits and grins the marine corps styled mossberg 590 is badass as you can put a bayonet on it, uses for zombie extermination are endless lol
My D.Z.S.G. is a mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun, and a taurus pt 92 9mm, I also have a D.Z.S.M. (designated zombie survival melee), and that would be a cold steel Vietnam tomahawk.

..While the DZSG is fine if they get inside the perimeter, I prefer to knock them down at 40 yards utilizing the 28 inch barrel with coyote choke greatly reducing the chances of infection from flying debis. lol

Better plan to sneak around and pick em off silently, and the crowbar performs a duel role of quick entry to buildings and melee weapon. Now if I can find an abandoned aircraft carrier or military base I'll be set...

@ryancicocki My DZGs would be my 1965 produced Lee Enfield Mk III No.2a which is the .308 version with my 1907 produced British Wilkinson Bayonet, and my side arm would have to be my Walther P1. =D
@taintedtannis Sweet rifle as far as guns go but for a DZSG its not that great. Sure it holds 10 rounds but its a bolt action and even though its a fine action its not great for a horde of 5 or more. What it does have is an advantage in range but you do not want to engage zombies from far away shooting a zombie is a last resort. You want to try to sneak around not let everything in the world know that theres a meal this way. As for your side arm good pick and sweet gun. God bless America!
mine are a "savage mark II(bolt action 22)... a remington 870(in 12 guage)... and a herritage 22 pistol... i picked these because i have a long range, close range, and backup.
My DZSG is a 22LR bolt action riffle. i know its a little 22 riffle, but i can carry over a thousand rounds in a coffee can in my pack. More than a large caliber weapon and it is easliy muffled so any zombies that are around wont easily hear the report and home in on it like a dinner bell.

@ryancicocki My DZGs would be my 1965 produced Lee Enfield Mk III No.2a which is the .308 version with my 1907 produced British Wilkinson Bayonet, and my side arm would have to be my Walther P1. =D

@taintedtannis Sweet rifle as far as guns go but for a DZSG its not that great. Sure it holds 10 rounds but its a bolt action and even though its a fine action its not great for a horde of 5 or more. What it does have is an advantage in range but you do not want to engage zombies from far away shooting a zombie is a last resort. You want to try to sneak around not let everything in the world know that theres a meal this way. As for your side arm good pick and sweet gun. God bless America!

My DZSG is a 22LR bolt action riffle. i know its a little 22 riffle, but i can carry over a thousand rounds in a coffee can in my pack. More than a large caliber weapon and it is easliy muffled so any zombies that are around wont easily hear the report and home in on it like a dinner bell.
