The other members besides Dave only came in after the recording of the first album. I'm quite sure that Nate the bassist has been the only other consistent member of the band. Taylor only came in after or towards the end of "The Colour and The Shape" and Chris became the permanent guitarist when they were recording "One by One". I know Pat Smear still performs with them once in a while.
