  • "50Wx4" is telling you that it outputs at "50 Watts" by 4, not the head unit model... :)

  • hey man just bought mine yesterday and do you happen to know how to fix it if the ipod function prompts an IPOD ERROR?

  • R these expensive? cuz my friends selling 3 for $10 but i have come to conclusion there stolen

  • hey david, when u use the ipod, if you put the ipod in the USB port instead, u wont have to mess with controlling the volume on the ipod and the head unit. also when u plug it in to the head unit (via USB port), push button 1. it'll say ipod. which allows you to still be able to control the ipod when its plugged in. I have this very same Head unit. u prolly already knew about that. but just in case u ddnt. haha good luck.

  • do u know how to install that for nissan sentra beacause my just fell off and i dont know how to put it back on please respond back thanks

  • The 90s song that was playing is Doo Woop by Lauryn Hill. I have a older model Kenwood looking for upgrade

  • i like Kenwoods they have way better sub controls then other models

alpine is alright pioneer is another good one

    jvc is getting up theres

sony headunits are pretty good but they have a beepy thing everytime you turn it on and off

kenwoods best in my opinion i dont like using aux i prefer usb i find the 3.5mm jacks can be quite dodgey i get static through mine and sometimes i lose L or R speakers

  • 50Wx4?! xD hahaha thats 50 watts (times) 4...

  • so you cant use a regular charger cord for an iphone??

  • well if you would plug the ipod into the usb and then press the number 1 on the radio it would go into hands on mode and you can operate it on your ipod then press number 1 again and it will go to hands off and you can use the radio

  • ya im looking at car radios for my audi r8, haha jk malibu. would you recomend a speaker update?

  • how do u know how to use the separate sub woofer function this indash has??

  • the fugees!

  • I got this radio for my 94 Eagle Vision and everything but the tuner is working great...I obviously had great radio reception from my stock unit but I cant get anything but pure static from this system, All the wires that were available to be connected have been including the antenna wire, do you know of any possible solution for me to try, I just cannot figure this one out for the life of me...and help at all would be more than greatly appreciated...

  • 50x4 is the power output to the speakers lmao

  • i have this : D

  • can you use a ipod like you are in the aux, but in the usb port?

as in, listening to your ipod through usb?

  • Sony is where the money is at... Xplode? anyone?.

    JK SONY SUCKS BALLS

  • Thanks for the video.

  • i like pioneer and kenwood, ive had really bad luck with alpine

  • does this head unit come with that empty section under it?

  • @k2theody no you have to buy the dash kit ($20)

  • Lauren Hill is the name of the singer.

  • I just bought this deck about two weeks ago and I love it. It is really good especially when you have a whole kenwood set up.

  • so it has satellite radio ready which means all you need is just the subscription no tuner or antenna?

  • woot woot! mines comin tomorrow!

  • haha i make a playlist so i dont have to mess with searching for my music

  • @Explicitomusical23 You mean on the ipod ? Or can you also make a playlist on the radio using your USB?

  • Woops! Like I said its a pimp little deck with hella base.... its like two base settings which will make your speakers sing. I suggest if you got a stock speaker you don't put them up all the way up because you might blow them out... but if you get better speakers of course the sound gets even BETTER! Oh man! I got used to navigating the IPod through USB and the radio interface... its pretty good but you can also do it using USB/IPOD on hand! Oh yeah ITS NOT MADE IN CHINA if your wondering.

  • Hey guys! I got this radid installed on my girlfriends car which I would use too. It's a pimp little deck

  • i no u like the aux but the usb will sound even better cause the aux is radio sound quality. so somthing to think about. just thought id let you know.

  • hello, someone knows how to reduce the illumination of the stereo?

    Thank you very much.

  • Well the orange and the orange black cable is the dimmer light cables.... hmm... dont remember seeing that in this Kenwood. Lemme check on the guide... LOL.

  • is it bluetooth ready? Says it on the box?

  • Not bad.

    Nice car btw, V-Dubs rock.

Now I wonder if it would work with the Zune... probably not though.

  • Sony has the flattest sound I have seen. Kenwood is really good and Pioneer.

  • Solid review! Thanks for sharing.

  • Pioneer is pretty good.

I have a Bose deck in my car which is quite good but I'm not sure if they make car decks anymore.

  • I was looking at that same Pioneer but I went down to Best Buy and after seeing it in person, I was not happy with it. Try the Alpine CDE-102. Not totally convinced but I think I may go with that one. Its simple, MP3, USB, dual RCA outs and a couple of dollars cheaper than the Pioneer. The only thing is its 2V out where the Pioneer is 4V, bummer.

  • apple friendly (a pair of shit).

i've the Kenwood KDC-W413UA. I can plug-in any kind of Mp3 player, cd, AUX and USB, and all work... exept with the ipod... cool.

  • i don't understand your comment...but anyway this is a great deck which sounds great as well.

  • sorry, english is not my language.

i was trying to say that i've the "KDC-W413UA" and it's NOT apple friendly... i can't use ma Ipod.

  • oh ok i understand now

  • Pioneer decks are very good. never buy DUAL.

  • i got this i havent had it installed yet but im putting subs in my car at the same time. but do u know if u can turn off the bass for subs?

  • just got this thing, i love it!

  • lauren hill is the artist

  • Excellent video David! Does the iPod charge when you plug it in with the USB port on the radio?

  • The USB port, yes. The AUX in, no.

  • Looks like a great sound system! The car is a sweet ride as well!

    Thanks,

    Tom.C

  • Everything looks great. But as far as iPod capability, There are better ways. It's a PIA to use an iPhone to use in a car. Having to unlock and look at the touch screen isn't safe. The alternative is to have and iPod controller where you can control your iPhone's music through the head unit without having to touch the iPhone. If you have steering wheel controls, even better.

  • I used to have one that you control through the head unit, and I did not like that. But I did not have steering wheel controls - that would have made a difference.

  • you can control this one through the head unit or ipod itself with the usb cable that came with the ipod

  • @julianenguillado you dont have to unlock on the iphone or ipod touch , you just double click the home button

  • Good video David!

  • I've got this in my car as well. It's a good player. Very good.

  • britney spears. okayyyyy

  • that looks like a really nice system. and sublime is the best!

  • Should of used the existing cd player but plugged an AUX port into the CD changer port.

  • Lauryn Hill!

  • I recently had a Dension Ice-Link FM iPod Car Connector that is hard wired into my Ford standard radio.

Full CD quality as you would experience with the AUX port. Also charges ipod

  • Great video! That looks a nice system too. And judging from the audio in this video, it sounds like your car has some nice bass going!
