There's alot of well paid work out there for session/media/TV musicians who are able to play a song 'in the style of', or perform well known songs etc note for note.The 'play some of your own songs/be creative and devolop something new' crowd usually a)work a lame job in the week and play their 'amazingly creative' stuff to friends and family in a pub once a month and b)aren't actually that creative anyway!

Well done! There's alot to be said for being able to recreate a musical performance accurately as you've done here.

We can all improvise and play songs in different ways and add our own style and unique individual characteristic twist blah blah blah....but that doesn't mean it's not valid to play a song the way someone else has played it.

By studying and emulating we unravel the blueprints of another persons style and absorb their mojo. Flea, after all, just copied Bootsie in the early days!

One thing, you should buy a decent soundcard instead of using your Stealthplug.

The Stealthplug is ok for fun stuff, but you can get a soundcard for like.. only a few bucks more and the sound is way better and it's way more stable.
