  • get outta here bobby.

  • this machine was a badd ass i ran a link belt that had a foot bucket and foot crowd like this machine.

the 1466 was a realy big mofo also

  • i worked for mike bubalo.he also had a 1466.twin 12-71s.this one only has a 12-71.we did alot of work with this machine.

  • Looks like the heavy thick walled panels. Those can be a real bitch to pull out with a smaller machine.

Don't see a lot of Koehrings where I am. Actually, I don't remember the last time I saw one.

  • That won't stop a 12V71 powered 1066 Koehring! They had one on saltspring 15-20 years back- it was competitive in size to a cat 245 it was 120,000lbs. serious machine. The boom and swing fuction were 2 forward/back levers, and the bucket and stick were 2 air-over-hydraulic pedals on the floor! the travel was air-over-hydraulic as well! it was quite the machine

  • If you ever see that machine again, I hope you can somehow get a shot of it, especially of the inside of that cab. 'twould be sweet!

  • It's gone, sadly, at one point an old owner of my 2nd Wabco truck also owned this Koehring O was telling you about. I have a picture of me when I was 5 on the track of it with my uncle however, working on a dyke job on the Cowichan River!

  • sounds like the worst possible control pattern ever lol
