I was wondering as to what your opinion on these were? Was thinking the Motif since it is a little cheaper and has the DX expansion. All I have is Roland gear so I'm somewhat biased and didn't want that to effect an expensive decision. Glad you liked my idea, keep up the awesome work!

Ok in my opinion id go with the motif es I mean both are great workstations & both have great sounds but for me personaly the motif has a slight edge over the phantom. It just seems like yamaha made it more user friendly with all the features & the great interface its more than just sounds in my opinion but go with what you think will be best for you cause what might be great for me might not be so good for you know what I mean?

Yeah, user friendliness is very important. Considering all I've used to date have been analogue synths that're as user friendly as it gets. I'm feeling the Yamaha, since it'd give me all the sounds of the digital synth realm. Hopefully I'll be able to go to Guitar Center and see if they have any to demo. What i said b4 was mainly about the first track as i think the second one you did was really good,i like it more due to my love of using like orchestral stuff in my songs, especially if their hip hop.

I write my own stuff but I'm still working on material I've produced a good amount of local ppl around my way but I never felt any real musical connection to any of them plus they didn't compliment the tracks the way I wanted them to so for now I'm mainly working on my own demo. My bad by the way I'm on my new G1 phone & I accidentaly touched remove instead of reply but if you ever put up any songs let me know id like to hear what you got.
