Freedom of speech means they can upload their own video, it doesn't entitle people to use abusive language on your page. Anyone know where the open public forum is? Where's the back and forth between the public and the election candidates? Do we have to go through our local members and be drowned out by their preferance for the most popular issues regardless of importance, solvability or gravity. Do we send an e-mail? Or does it come down to polling day. If no one listens what's the point? I think I'd rather not vote and pay the fine since I have no other way of demonstrating a mutual lack of interest.

People are quick to judge you on your, not so new role in Australian politics, and at first thoughts of sell out rang loudly in my mind. But a person who has committed a good deal of his life to preservation of the environment and the rights of others, I have to wonder, what is up your sleeve?
