I remember being about 14 years old and watching this. I was completely devastated when he gave up on his relationship with Kelly and left the show.

This still makes me really sad :(

I gets so touch in the end where David are saying all that stuff about the group... It makes me cry... And of course that Brandon left the show makes me cry too... Because he and Brenda, and the rest of the guys, who were the original cast, was "Beverly Hills 90210"... And when someone of them are leaving they are taking a part of the serie with them and it will never be the same unless they come back... But David made me think of the good time with all the cast and it makes me cries... R.I.P BH

Kelly should have gone with him.They belong together.Remember those earlier episodes when Kelly kept their ring and told Brandon that she'd finally chosen. How could they be so in love and a season later Brandon is leaving.It made no sense!

The last part of the episode when david talks about brandon on his radio show and kelly is outside her flat is very beautiful and touching. It's so real!

I mean Brandon was on of the mos important persons in that show, but of course not the only one.

i was so sad when brandon leaves kelly alone with their baby.. i wish they will meet again on the new season of 90210! i can say that they both share a good tandem that gives life on the series!

I think the writers could have went ahead & married BK @ the end of season 8. The 6 episodes that Priestly did in season 9 could have somewhat been the same leading up to his departure, but changed it to him having to leave to cover some story or deal w/ something involving his parents in Hong Kong. They could have alluded to phone calls, letters, or Kelly missing an episode or two (visiting him) until the end of the show to remind us that they were married...

I thought they did a really good job with Brandon's departure scene. That was one of the things that was always pretty consistant throughout the years, I always thought they handled the character goodbyes exactly right... Andrea, Dylan, Brandon, Valerie, and even Gina who I had zero attachment to.

Season 5 is awesome. It's the last season with Charles Rosin as the showrunner and the last one before it's soap first, issues 2nd. I recommend it. Season 6 is the one I would dodge.

its funny how david gets mad at dylan in the next sseason when dylan does the same thing. and I CRIEEED whe brenda left and i cry everytime i think about how great was her character. I LOVE VAAAALERIEE AND AFTER THIS IT WASNT 90210 TO ME WITHOUT BRANDON IT DOESNT WORK THEY tried to replaceh im with matt and val with gina and i loved gina but you cant do that -.- you just cant

Agree. It was pretty wounded when Shannen left after Season 4. I think that was the peak of the show definitely. Tiffani-Amber Thiessen was excellent as Valerie but the show wasn't the same.  Then the parents left and then Luke and then Gabrielle. It wasn't the same characters we grew to love, or hate. Without Jason the show seemed like a bunch of supporting characters struggling to lead the show. Just not the same, even with Luke back.

Oh and they changed the Walsh house, ugh. It has been proven that viewers respond least favourably to a change in setting than anything else. That was a big mistake!

I like the ending so much!! because it had something of the old 90210 during the highschool-days!! this scene is really honest and the friendship between the charaters is really well shown. Thats also a reason why 90210 became so popular!!

I like davids speech and the REM song in the background !! One of the best episodes during the last three seasons!! Maybe the show should have ended here and for a lot of people it does (did)!!
