  • Who are the 8 people who didn't "like" this song???? This song is one of the best live jams ever. EVER. These 8 people are either totally tone-deat, or just plain hate good music.

  • I will be 54 in May every car or truck I have owned the first songs played in it were travlin man/beautiful loser. On my 9th or 10th copy of Live Bullet. Took my son to the show in Nashville for his 24 Birthday. After the show he told me it was his best Birthday gift.

  • Great first upload choice, and i can relate to half of the second one anyway (??)

  • Dont get me wrong, Mr.Segar is incredible, but this one is my favorite!!!

  • Sing it Bob!!!

  • 8 people have absolutely no musical taste whatsoever.....Grew up on this....Great then....Fantastic now....Rock On Bob!

  • How old is this guy?? at least three days older than dirt. He still performs and still rocks the house. A true performer. Thanks for sharing your time and talent for so many years.

  • Wore out the vinyl... Zep IV, Skynyrd Gold&Platinum,Derek &Dominoes and Live Bullet are the only albums I had to replace more than once.

    Rich

  • Great songs!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the transition to beautiful loser is fucking AWESOME!!!!!

  • I think I speak for a lot of people age 50+ when I say that this man's music holds a lifetime of our memories. His music is timeless.

  • @Msdistarr even in our 40's love this lp and HIM

  • @Msdistarr my 11 yr old calls him THE BOB

  • @Msdistarr Amen dude, amen.

  • i'm 51 and still like to get high on this song

  • @TheCowboyup213 I agree , doesnt get old, try to get my 16 yr old to understand the impact and influence this music had...we're still listening 30 plus years later, I wonder if Ldy gaga or P diddy will still be played in the year 2040??

  • @seger311 I grew up in the baby boomer age if it wasn't for rock and bands like bob where would we be now

  • a perfect lodger, a perfect guest. turn loose my hand 'cause I'm goin'. I' m always willin' to be second best, I'm a travellin' man, I love when I can.....sometimes at night I see their faces, I feel the traces they've left on my soul. Memories make me a wealthy soul... thank you Bob Seger for one of the rockinest tunes ever...long may you run, you beautiful loser...peace...

  • 7 people must of slip and fell right before they hit the dislike button. oopssss

  • this is one of the best live albums i have ever heard! from the first track to the last one, just press play and enjoy! =)

  • seger sounds good live

  • love seger my fav is beautiful loser which is me but for the beautiful

  • @ridingthetubeagain I think u r beautiful because u love Bob Segar and thats a beautifiul thing in itself. <3

  • kid rock has no soul, dont put him and bob seger in the same group!! kid rock steals real musicians music!!!!!!!!

  • @SmithAJ14 Wow, love them both, differant styles, you miss to many good things in life, dont be so negative:)

  • i was born in 1981 I love this music, its too real. its all Im about!!!

  • Maybe one of the best live songs ever credit to Kid Rock at Sturgess for his cover and I am the Beautiful Loser thanks Bob for all the great music and memories.

  • I still " feel the traces" of his concert seen in Bay City around "80, was going thru divorce from DLRice and I kept thinking $13.00 was high price I couldn't afford. To this day I am so glad I saw him play Live.

  • these two songs date me better than any songs can

  • great guitarist sounds a bit or reminds me of Johnny Winter sound and style..

  • These 2 and Jody Girl are my favorites by Bob...I got to see him in the 80's...was a great time. Would like to go back.

  • Saw them last night in Jacksonville !!!!!!!!!!

ABSOLUTELY ROCKED IT ON EVERY SONG !!!

  • THE MAN

  • This man just oozes talent. Can he write a song or what!! And this is one of the gems that you could go for 20+ years without hearing, and still remember every single word. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this music is another good reason it is to be 50 years old. Musically, we couldn't have picked a better time to grow up. How fortunate were we?

  • @Msdistarr Seger, Ronnie Van Zant of original Lynyrd Skynyrd, and John Fogerty of CCR, doesnt get any better than that.

  • @chance501 I saw Seger and Skynyrd (with Ronnie Van Zant) back in the mid 70's. Would have loved to have seen CCR. But to your list, I have to add my man Joe Walsh, who I saw shortly after he left The James Gang. He is so underrated as a song writer, performer and guitarist. Hell, there were so many to choose from. I refer to it as rock and roll during it's "Toddler Years". The genre was very young so nearly everything coming out was something new and unique. It was a truly special time!

  • some of the greatest rock n roll!

  • FUCK YEA BOB SEGERS KICKS ASS

  • he kicked ass in these tunes in Philly 12/3/11; best part of the show.

  • some good rock n roll music

  • ive owned 5 LP copies meself

  • Lets see that (insert lame ass reality show suck-job singer here) try to pull off this badd mofo example of 70s RAWK.

  • @black7flag @dadavis it really was. I wish we could go back. At least we have the music.

  • three of the greatest things to come out of America: muscle cars, baseball, and any work by Bob Seger

  • Excellent choice for your first upload. You are amazing! I am the ultimate bob seger fan. I still have my Bob Seger System album since 10 years old, so you know I love his talent to the core. I got the first album out of the box in my city in 1982, The Distance, and I've seen him live twice in Vancouver, 1986/1996. I went to show and dance of a Bob Seger tribute band in the early 80's, named Ron Lassale, and he was amazing. Beltin' Bob is the best rocker ever, and a helluva good man. Luv.

  • P.S. I curtsie to His Royal Highness, The King of Classic Rock and Roll. Thank you for the music of my life. I raise my glass. I raise my bic lighter. I raise my consciousness in your lyrical poetry of reality.

  • Seger, I would suddenly turn into a groupie and follow him on his tour! Mind you, somewhat older than most groupies!!! lol

Amazing artist... not many can say their music spans almost 50 years....

Cant wait for his next tour.... wouldnt miss it....

  • Driver!...(but never surrender the people that you "would" LOVE!)

  • Especially when that organ leads into BLoser!

  • LOVE THE SAGWAY........

  • Love that instrumental break between the two songs. Intense!!

  • Kick ass rock n roll. Still as good today as it was back then.

  • In my personal opinion, there is only one main album per lifetime and this one is it, Live Bullet was and is still the best and the only album of a lifetime, wish Bob would do more albums exactly like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great job at loading.....for a first load u cant go wrong with segar...wtf was that nickelback fiasco???? let me see...playing in Detroit- who better represents Detroit than Bob Segar?? worst case put Eminem on stage anything but Nickelback...

  • The NFL does not have a clue about anything.

  • Bob Seger, you are and always will be my King of rock and roll!

  • Great medley and great album. Brings back TONS of memories. Good job on the post!

  • need to have bob play on christmas halftime :)

  • I still cannot believe that the NFL had fucking Nickelback play the Thxgiving halftime instead of Seger.

  • This is the shit!

  • Live Bullet is the best LIVE album EVER recorded...Frampton comes alive,,,A close second.

  • @spaggs64 Obviously you've never heard Sha na na Live in Detriot!

  • everything looks weird I live in a virtual world

  • @Syzygy60 everything looks virtual I live in a weird world

  • that looks weird

  • guessed

  • guessed

  • Hey,Me again,I don't quit,u woulda guest that after awhile

  • I was in New York (im from NZ) shortly after Bush sent the troops into Afghanistan post 9/11. The DJ on the radio said that this song was dedicated to the troops going over their to kick the terrorists' asses. It's been six years before I found out who this was. Seger is sadly very much unheard of in New Zealand. Awkwardly enough a convoy of troop transports were driving down the highway and everyone was cheering them on as they drove by during the song's transition solo. Very touching.

  • Virtuoso!!!

  • @JayGatsbyOdysseus Agusto?

  • SEGAR WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY COLLECTION

  • Who are the 6 assholes who disliked this song? I cannot even begin to think of your favorite genre of music. It has to be something ridiculous.

  • my kid brother just got a new harley yesterday...48th birthday. happy birthday, 'bitch', this one's for you! wake up!

  • I burnt up 3 8 track tapes of this album in high school. Still a mainstay in my record collection (Yes, in vinyl). Great Rock & Roll never ages

  • @wvbusarider06 got the nine tonight album im only 30 but im not letting go!!!

  • @wvbusarider06 especially not in digital form!! Get an iPod dude!!

  • @wvbusarider06 Gotcha

  • I'm 51 is still a mainstay for rock

  • I first heard the record when I was thirteen bank in 76 and now I'm 47 and I have never gotten tired of hearing it!:)

  • @jscleverly Couldn't have said it better myself..

  • been too long since i've listened to this album.thanks

  • Sometimes at night I see there faces, I feel the traces they left on my soul, and those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul.

Here's to you P. Your memory does make me a wealthy soul. R

  • I Roll a fat joint and sit back and JAM to this regularly!

"women have come and women have gone, those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul"

  • @ThePeteMossShow lol. I do the same thing.

Matter of fact, I'm doing it now. Thank God for Bob Seger. I hear he's touring some in 2012.

If there is a God, He will send Bob to the ATL. Pretty please?

    AMEN.

  • @lunykat I know he is gonna be in Greenville SC at Bi-Lo center

    you from Atl? Charlotte here

  • @lunykat yeah, Atl. Apparently he was here in April, but supposedly back some time in 2012. Was recovering from knee replacement surgery in April.

  • One of the best song to song segues I have ever heard..... GO BOB

  • amazing music, amazing man. most of my teenage years involve mr. segar

  • another thanx .

  • You don't find "soulful" music like this anymore. Reminds me of the fun 70's.

  • I cant wait to hear these songs on Nov. 2 at EMU, i got front row seats!!!!

  • @JCadeJohnson I'm going to be there! It's gonna be sick!

  • @JCadeJohnson How was it?????

  • @enioass The best Bob concert that i have been at. It helped that i sat front row dead center.

  • 6 people are ugly losers.

  • Allmusic.com, in the review for Live Bullet, said that Bob Seger was "a rocker of unbridled passion"....I thought to myself, 'shit, I've know that for 30 years".

    (And I'm 32!)

  • Bob always spoke from the heart-Always. thank you for your love, I have this album and I love "Katmandu" among others It's a fantastic album. Frank again-lol

  • Bob always spoke from the heart-Always. thank you for your love, Frank

  • Seger today yesterday and tomorrow means the same

  • Damn I wish I was that old again!!!

  • YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Bob Seger opened up a show 1976 or 77 at the Colisium, Cleveland,OH. I went with about 10 people from the neighborhood, we called it the Caravan. Cheech and Chong cars, back when u could anyways. Seger opened, fucking rock and roll, then ZZ Top with the rattle snack and steer on the stage set up and ELO. What a show, what a nite, and all for $9.00. They don't do shows like that anymore.

  • A nice pair of songs to twist up a pinky finger sized spliff to and burn it 'til your eyes are as red as the following sunrise... like a drummer friend of mine would say:

    "Gentlemen! Let's TIGHTEN our heads!"

  • My mom was at this concert! Nothing like growing up listening to Segar on the WRIF, Amazing musicians

  • @tokenmuchochiba I was at the concert too and it was awesome and just saw him back in the spring and he still rocks

  • so badass.

  • 2nd Generation listener. My favorite artist of all time.

  • the bob seger system 2 plus 2 is a great song

  • Two of the Best Songs Back 2 back .

  • AWESOME POST !

  • 6 people like music that has no soul..... ),: they'll be sorry some day

  • can't remember who his drummer was but damn..

  • my dad had this LP it was bad ass!

  • @HareLuchthartigheid

Well, it was a good first.

  • @spaggs64 possibly not so beautiful....who knows?

  • i picked this album up today on vinyl for 1.99!!! haven't played it yet, workin through night moves which was 99 cents, but it looks to be in phenominal condition!

  • This is one of those songs you identify with so well that you think it was written about you. This song came out during that time in my life when I left home and school and went into the service and was stationed oversea's. I was all of seventeen.

  • My one regret is that I can't find a quality live performance of this here. Everyone I find are shaky hand-cams from somewhere in the audience with lousy audio.

  • gratz on the first upload, dunno how it could be better

  • Only one thing to say....

Bob freaking Seger & the Silver Bullet Band!!!!

  • " those are the memorys that make me a wealthy soul..."

Bob, damn, you probaly have the wealthiest soul ever......

  • 5 PEOPLE ARE BEAUTIFUL LOSERS!

  • @spaggs64 they just messed up they really wanted the "like" button

  • Bob Seger was my very first Rock concert that was in 1976 or 77 at the old IMA auditorium in Flint Michigan. best show I ever went to. small building great sound.

  • thanks man....

  • @xsnut1 You're welcome dude... (I'm a woman;)

  • @HareLuchthartigheid here me roar

  • @raedaddy163 Hear me burp

  • @HareLuchthartigheid well done lady

  • @HareLuchthartigheid You picked a damn great song for your first upload. Congrats on your excellent taste.

  • saw him concert in 97 and he still rocked!

  • LUV LUV THIS SONG IT ROCKS

  • Thank you .

  • gracienathan01....so am I!

  • I had obstructed view seats at the civic center, and Bob sat on my side of the stage with his baby grand and played this song for the ones who could not get the best seats, oh yes...we lucked out like dogs...the best.........He was so sweet and real............thanks Seger and your fine sax player that showed up in the upper deck......love you

  • Every time I drive by Cobo, I think this is where they recorded the best live album ever

  • The best live album ever (though Allman Bros. @ the Fillmore East is very close). And Bob was the first live show I ever saw. Michael Bolton opened for him...boo'd off the stage, lol!!!

  • man from Mi think that Bob is one of the best Rock en roller in the world from Brighton Mi thank you Bob.

  • I've always thought this recording sounded "too clean" to be recorded live. Also, there isn't a seamless transition from the intro of the song to the song actually beginning...just a period of silence. I've always wondered if they overdubbed the vocals after the fact.

  • I "FRIED" MY P.C. SPEAKERS TO THIS TUNE!!!

    I DON'T CARE-WELL WORTH IT!!! GREAT SHOW-GOT TO SEE HIM LIVE-WHAT A HELLOVA SHOW!!!

  • MY FIRST CONCERT MARKET SQUARE ARENA STILL FEEL THE BIC LIGHTER BURN ON MY THUMB .STILL BEAUTIFUL AND STILL a LOSER !!

  • I'm currently engaged in this battle. According to my adversary, Eminem is a better-known and overall more musically inclined artist than Bob Seger and the entire Motown records. It's times like these when I lose more faith in humanity.

  • greatest transition ever

  • I was 15 when I first heard this album and now I'm 46, I am still amazed!

  • seems like 5 people are ugly losers.

  • I'm from detroit Michigan

  • @gracienathan01 Yeaaaah! ;-)

  • @HareLuchthartigheid

The rock-n-roll capitol of the world!

  • @HareLuchthartigheid Well, girl, you picked the best damn thing to upload- Seger at his best. Thank you, from one cranky old biker who'd park you on his ride and carry you anywhere, anyday. This is the stuff to roll to.

  • @gracienathan01 I'm from "little Detroit"...Toledo.(LOL) Used to always go to Detroit for all the best concerts back in the 70's. As a kid, we listened to CKLW...Is that station still on the air? God , the memories. It tears me up to think of what has become of that once great city. . Motown, Grand Funk, Seger, Alice Cooper, The Rockets....So much great music. Serious love for Detroit. I hope one day she comes back....

  • @Benji8461 oh man someone else that recognizes the rockets was at a show in south bend in 78 when the rockets bus broke down and reo sent their jet to get them show was two hrs late but a great rockin show

  • @oneeye4263 cool. We had this club in Toledo called the Southside Roxy and this bartender that worked there, (her name escapes me, been allot of years, ya know, but suffice it to say, she was gorgeous) was their lead singer, Dave Gilbert's girlfriend, so when they weren't on the road, he was down in Toledo allot and you'd see him there. Their version of "Oh Well" SMOKES Fleetwood Mac's. hell, it ain't even in the same ballpark, it ain't even the same sport!! "

  • @oneeye4263 The first time I saw them was in "78" too. They played at Adrian College in Adrian Michigan... Their opening band was this band fronted by this real little skinny , greasy hair'd looking dude I'd never heard of from Seymore Indiana...Johnny Cougar..haha who of course is John Mellancamp, and it was a great show. The Rockets opened allot of shows for other acts in Toledo, Saw them no less than 8 times, including at The Toledo Speedway Jam where they held their own. Cool memories.
