  • This is good news, for many people this is the only way to start using public transportation. Even if its not their intention, by changing their commuting habits many consumers are indirectly helping to clean the planet. Now governments should improve all public transportation systems, including the public bike.

  • Watch the Movie "who killed the electric car" .. GM had a electric car 15 years ago. but they killed it themselves, bowing to pressure from the OIL companies

  • not just from pressure of oil companies. they realize they wouldn't make money on the cars because they require very little maintenance. New car stores make their money on parts and labor (service) in order to stay in business

  • BINGO! GM served their own interests.

  • now look at how much trouble GM is in. And that affects AMERICAN jobs and our economy. Selfish bastards.

  • Ride your bike.

  • Electric is the way to go indeed.

  • You thank Israel!

  • Maybe it's time. Bring a good railroad system back to this country.

  • HAHA in Norway i just payed almost 3 $ maybe about 2,7

  • the gas prices in California are crazy almost 5.00 a gallon

  • but still its nowhere expensive as in europe. so be happy.

  • How much in europe?

  • Just go a google search for the current price. it changes everyday.

  • About 9USD a Gallon

  • Damn that's alot

  • Its also good for the environment where people can reduce green gas emission. This is a good look for the environment. This is not bad news is actually great news. :) Hooray! For the Environment!

  • Wow, GM thinks high gas prices are to stay! They're the last to realize this.

  • What a joke,GM have had a electric car for more than 20 years. They are so full of shit.

  • Public transportation is great. The more trains and buses the better.

  • I agree Inkan, this could teach the people living there some humility.

  • It's not about humility. It's about practicality, frugality, common sense. I've never found public transportation humbling. Hey, I wave the flag for my city's transport system. :-D

  • where are the herd dogs?

  • This is good for the invierment! :D!
