I was playing Halo: CE in first grade, and then I walked out on the streets and saw this guy that (somehow) looked like a giant purple alien and I was like "OMG FIND A GUN AND SHOOT IT."
Also, generally in games, you're not killing humans (at least a lot of games are moving in that direction it seems) but aliens/robots, and so on, who attack your planet first. So you're not generally rampaging around killing things, you're making an effort to save your planet. I don't see any problem with saving the world, and if you do, I'll attack you and see how you react. (that's a joke) If I really wanted to make my whole point I'd run out of characters multiple times. I'll stop now.
That's a terrible generalization, I've been playing Halo since CE was released, and before that I played Starcraft, Heroes, and so on...and I've never killed anyone. I don't feel any more violent or angry towards anyone. In fact, I think it reduces my stress level to be able to play violent video games.
In video games there is a fine line because you're not rampaging for no apparent reason (unless you're playing GTA, then by all means, keep shooting). There's a storyline included.

I dont get it...I've been playing video games for over 15 years and if anything, violent games are a release of my anger and frustations...I have fun and laugh, I take out whatever pisses me off on aliens (Halo being the subject of the matter) and I feel more relaxed and mentally stimulated afterwards...it's a GAME, it's not real, just like cartoons: DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, Transformers...is NOT in no way ever made me act up from em..get your facts straight u right wing cunt.

Also, generally in games, you're not killing humans (at least a lot of games are moving in that direction it seems) but aliens/robots, and so on, who attack your planet first. So you're not generally rampaging around killing things, you're making an effort to save your planet. I don't see any problem with saving the world, and if you do, I'll attack you and see how you react. (that's a joke) If I really wanted to make my whole point I'd run out of characters multiple times. I'll stop now.

That's a terrible generalization, I've been playing Halo since CE was released, and before that I played Starcraft, Heroes, and so on...and I've never killed anyone. I don't feel any more violent or angry towards anyone. In fact, I think it reduces my stress level to be able to play violent video games.
In video games there is a fine line because you're not rampaging for no apparent reason (unless you're playing GTA, then by all means, keep shooting). There's a storyline included.
