  • At 2:11 what are those 4 rails on the same track? Is that so wide loads can get by the platform?

  • @slashmaster2 Yes, its known in railroading as a Gauntlet Track. Basically it just allows more clearance in tight areas.

  • It has a new haven whistle. It's even stamped NYNH&H

  • Wasn't she supposed to get a NH whistle?

  • Maybe it's the video, but that whistle doesn't sound right to me

  • @TheDaylight4449 Sounds like her chinese whistle. That is probobly why.

  • i drove the P&W #3905 once, it was awesome!

  • Thats a great looking little locomotive!!! it has the look of a bigger mainline locomotive, but yet still looks smaller than the others, now there is a great reason to visit the valley railroad, and a quick question, about how long is the ride, and have they extended their track any?

  • Welcome back 3025!

  • Where is this?

  • @Weiberts The station is in Old Saybrook CT along the north east corridor. I go in and out of that station everyday!!, and most of the running takes place in the CT River Valley.

  • That engine is smaller than the US mikado's! Even a little smaller than the other chinese engines

  • @Rtchugg I beg to differ, it is a lot bigger then the other Mike on the Valley #40.

  • @TCRStaff VALE 40 and 97 feature 48" drivers, 3025 has 54"

  • @Rtchugg Bigger than the mikado on the valley already and its the same size as chinese 142 on the bel del

  • awesomeeee!!

  • AWESOME video! At 2:00, there's a steam locomotive on the Northeast Corridor. Well it's not on the NEC itself, it's on a line parallel to it, but it's close enough though. :)

  • So weird to think the steamer is newer than the diesels moving her around!

  • Awesome video Chase!

  • AT LAST!!! SHE'S BACK!!! GREAT CATCH!

  • @OdaConnProductions I have some hours in restoring her. Those are partly my driving axle journals, my cladding and my small pneumatic fitting work on her.

  • @steamboy51 very cool! you must be proud! U did great! No, make that superb!

  • @OdaConnProductions Well not nearly as much work as the other guys did, but thank you just the same!

  • Excellent!

  • Beautiful engine. Great video. Thanks for sharing!
