dude can this fix Resident evil 2? coz i downloaded the game and it freezes on the RPD station.. the other games that i have like megaman x4 x5 and x6 and castlevania works fine, but the RE2 freezes... my system software is 5.50 GEN-D3

Wait.. I was just wondering, psx has R2 and L2 controls, if I convert a game from psx to psp, what would happen to those controls, when psp only has an R and L buttons?

@kayeavril27 popsloader has a few options... 1) you lose them or 2) theyre hit automatically when you hit r1 and l1 buttons :/

I've not had any issues with it and most games let you change the settings to not need those buttons or make their use unimportant.

If playing with PSP Brite or 3000 I thought you would need popsloader...yup I forgot that CFW is only temporary. Anyway the first two steps worked like a charm and if you don't mind booting up your CFW all you need is your converted game file.

the 3000 isn't hackable, there are some hacks availible such as chickHen but other than that there is no cfw

Thats not supposed to be changed but if you want to just look in the psx2psp folders to find it and replace it

Ok... I am trying to get Castlevania SOTN to work... I made an ISO of my disc, and followed up on your tutorial pretty much up to the point where you switched cameras. Since I just bought my psp, please bare with the stupidity, but, what is "custom firmware?" All my psp says is it's version 3.52... Also, I hold the R button in and turn on the psp, but it doesn't log into the debug screen or whatever it was you were in. Is this because of my lack of this "custom firmware?" Please help T_T

no custom firmware - no ps1 games converted to it sorry :/ sony does let you buy them now but converting it better... you need custom firmware to do it... (custom firmware lets you unlock your psp's full potential and is not supported by sony)

ok well then my question is this: I have Breath of Fire III and IV but they will not work. I've followed the instructions but when it comes to picking a pop nothing has gotten me past a black screen. I wouldn't think this process is any harder than putting PSPTube, GBA, SNES, or isos on the PSP so why I am having so much trouble is beyond me!

i just instales popsloader and i was happy that i got my ffix working but once i hit new game the screen goes black and nothing happens. any ideas of what could be wrong?

hey after choosing 3.72 pops the psp just goes blank screen and then it shuts off... any help? im trying to play Vanguard Bandits

When the list comes up try selecting the last pops on the list. If not try a different game. and is it a multiple cd game? if it is there may be a problem. let me know

if you follow my tut exactly then you'll have no problem, you only need to do it once as far as enabling goes. You will need to convert every ps1 game you want to place once. It will work on 3.90M33-3

I have a problem, I followed every step of your guide(very helpful by the way i like the icon image thing)but when ever I start my game it gives me the warning screen then the menu with the POPs versions or original(I always pick original) then the game cuts off and it says "error game could not be started (FFFFFFFFFF"any help?
