Accuracy on the rifle? I've got it zeroed at 25 yards and am putting three rounds nearly through the same hole, shooting off a rest, with fairly cheapo brass ammo. The rifle is extremely accurate...oh, yes, this is from the stock iron/open sights. Nothing beyond that. I'm hitting center mass at 100 yards from the open sights.
the barrel on this rifle has a 1 in 7 twist, right? i was wondering what kind of ammo you've used with it, and what results you got from different grains. i'm considering getting a daniel defense for the overall superior quality of the weapon when compared to other available ar15s, but i wouldn't want to get it if i can't shoot cheap (but not too cheap. no ruskie crap) 55 grain ammo with it.
@jamalicious1 You are correct. The barrel twist is 1:7. As far as using cheap ammo. I haven't had any issues shooting cheap ammo through mine. I've shot everything from cheap (and dirty) Wolf ammo, to expensive defensive loads, and have even fired some of my friends reloads through it. Works every time. Very accurate gun even with crap ammo.
@Zeitgeist74 -- did you go for it? I'm from CA too and I got my DDM4 for about $1999 so I think you got a good bargain there. These probably are the best milspec M4 in the market...
No one noticed the lack of trigger discipline?

I got mine the other day for $1250.00 with case one pmag, and they threw in a metal mag and 20 rounds... Just shot those 20 rounds today.. BAD ASS
