An absolutely AMAZING game. Best game I've ever seen, even. As brilliant as Marta is, the US just played with heart and determination from the first second to the last, and I feel they truly deserved to win. It was a collective effort from them, and they truly played great for a team down not only a player, but a goal. In fact, I kept forgetting they were down a player. Good game to Brazil, but the time stalling and faking injuries made me lose A LOT of respect for them. The better team won.

I love watching Brazil play. Both the men and the women. The American women though play a very diffrent kind of game, and are obviously just as good as the Brazil gals. But this call wasn't about the two teams, the Brazilian tripped Boxx and it should have just been a quick free kick. This mistake was all Nicole Petignat's fault. It was and is the worst call that I have ever seen. Pathetic, and certainly reflective of how bad the calls go for the US at all stages of international soccer.

Instead of taking potshots at the people in the other country based on their soccer team, their president, etc., why not just realize that football/soccer is a fun game, but the World Cup just feeds into a hollow form of Nationalism. It is not expected from the players to be rational at a decision. They live that for the referee and the speculators out of the field, who have "class" but can`t play like them.
