  • Thomas couetdic THE BEST!!! ;D nice work man

  • good video! the mental side side of martial arts is exactly the same feel it don't think

  • In love with this video

  • thinking always ruins my training

but you have to be atleast a bit conscious to see if you could do something or not

  • 0:24 that's what she said

  • lol i love parkour gen. i want them to come to korea so i can get some advice and neaby get enof hipe to start a team here that travels

  • you no what you suck ass hole

  • 1.22 ....Did anyone else notice his left hand was bleeding?

  • I was about to ask about that

  • you are good but trian more so can you be a new david belle!

  • totally right about not thinking about anything

  • definitly nailed it when talking about how you barely think about it when doing a move..

  • An amazing video tbh.. great words, and the head-cam / 1st person view.. just tops it off, smooth movement, and just a generally good video :) - 5/5

  • This should inspire a first person parkour game.

  • mirrors edge

  • lol best game ever

  • u no, like mirrors edge? lol

  • never heard of it D:

  • really? lol never heard of mirrors edge? i suggest u youtube it :)

  • do dupy!!!

  • i love the head cam!

  • but the guy with the headcam dont like it i think its annoying him lol

  • the 1st person view is pretty sick but what he said is true it becomes such second nature when you're runnng you don't even see this

  • is this legal in california ?

  • First person parkour ftw!

  • cool! in wich city are this places?

  • Some of it definitely looks like Southbank - London

  • Great vid thanks for posting

  • Comment removed

  • patience and time

  • wow sick footage, first person.

  • lol it looks a lot like mirrors edge gameplay... (i have been watching parkour/freerunning a lot before the game was made)

  • I agree!

  • wow very good . this video motivatet me to get out and run . wow ;)

  • i tryed doing this by taping my camera phone to my chest. wouldnt recommend it.

  • I'm planning on getting Mirror's Edge shortly. However i'm getting it for the pc as i do not have PS3 or 360.

  • its a great game just rather short story

  • That is a pretty amazing video.

  • Simply inspiring, in fact my trainings are so similar to yours Thomas and my angle of seeing it all is the same. The way to development in parkour is to feel, to make it automatic in your mind. Cheers from Cracow, Poland. :)

  • cool vid all first person xD

  • great video

  • Here's a question for you parkour pros. What do you think of Mirror's Edge? I noticed that you posted this as a response to a ME trailer. I play guitar and I hate guitar hero, so I'm just wondering if Mirror's Edge is the same kind of deal. I can entirely understand why.

  • people say that people who play guitar

makes it harder for them to play guitar hero

  • thats true cause i play guitar and its hard for me to play guitar hero cause its COMPLETLY differnt

  • well I do lots of parkour and I think that game is amazing. but in ways it may bring bad things

  • guitar hero is just pointless....it's a game about something you can very well do in real life, just as easy....it's pointless...I totally feel you.

  • yes, but not everybody wants to put the time, money or commitment into learning the instrument, and some people just like to have fun and pretend just for a short while that they really can play an instrument.

I mean I cannot play instruments at all, but it's still lots of fun to play guitar hero especially as a party game, and kinda sad on your own...

  • nicely edited, like how the camera is used.

  • what camera did you use for this?

    its good man

  • the tracuer had a camera lodged on top of his head or on his shoulder.

Camera type would have to be quite portable for it to be attached to his body and not be annoying

  • or maybe it was a helmet/bullet cam... theyre small and adapt your digital camera qality

  • watch farell and gerald parkour chase its kinda cool to!!

  • impressive as always julie, excelent work. incredible expressive resource. very good!

    ;)

  • Very inspiring to traceurs everywhere!

  • loved the video :D

what has been said in the clip is really true too

    5/5 + fav ;)

  • nice video, this is really good information

  • Beautiful.

  • dis is by far the coolest parkour vid i have ever seen

  • lol, Mirror's Edge camera shots. brilliant!

  • Wow, the thermal camera it's just great for parkour! And film pk in first person it's just genius, u can see all the emotions that u feel when u're doing a big jump or a great tic-tac, or just the adrenaline of a good line...

    ATT: MAHS

  • That is some nice work Julie. Your editing is unbeatable...the way you match the shots up with what is said makes this video. If I was as good as you at making films, I'd be a happy camper. Very nice concept, nice editing and brilliant content.

I would like to see this method explored more, there could be a lot done with it...a few things I'd add in

  • very nice. i love it

  • I have no words for this..

    What an amazing vid.

    It's great to hear Thomas..

    Awesome work, Julie..

    Cheers from Brazil.

    5/5

  • genius

  • Mirrors edge anyone?

  • I was JUST gonna add a comment on that,

    Y'beat me to the punch. = ]

  • Really nice vid great thoughts :) Did you get a fixed camera?

  • totally agree with all thoughts, thanks for video!

  • grat 5*

  • so is this one of the places that rev 3 is going to be?

  • RDV3 is at the South Bank Centre, to get an idea of that watch some of the Jump London clip on Mike Christie's channel. This film features locations from all over London and only a couple of shots from the South Bank.

  • i no thanks Julie Angel :)

  • wow 2500 views in 1 day

  • he is the man!

  • realy coowl

  • ya this is good. this could be a sweet camera set up. pretty interested to see how it developes. who was the parkour enthusiast?

  • Do you mean who was filming? It was Thomas Couetdic from Parkour Generations

  • Good. Amazing... New Visions...

  • respect , keep it up!!!!!!!!!!

  • go thomas!

  • Great! Loved it!

  • kinda reminds me of mirror's edge

  • no i mean that it reminds me of mirrors edge because of the way he took the video

  • this reminds me so much of "mirrors edge"

  • that's because mirrors edge is basically all parkour... cept people dont shoot at you and stuff when your delivering a package(no shit)

  • I concur with Thomas' "natural" statement I noticed when I just move everything feels easier and well, natural. Good video and very good insight to Thomas' training.

  • wow were his hands bleeding?

  • yep from a catleap onto a wall with a nasty edge

  • amazing i love parkour! lolkeep it up

  • Dammit. I did the same thing but you executed it more efficiently...

    That was good...

  • well said

  • Ab-solutely brilliant! First person camera's show an amazing new perspective of experinced Traceur vision, thanks Julie.

  • awesome video love it! =P

  • Wow, the combination of movement and thoughts about the movement is beautifull. Loving it.

  • Uhg, motion sickness.

  • wow really awesome video and thinkings

  • totally agree with Thomas.

Pure Parkour is without pre-meditated movement. Moving without thinking, but moving from knowing.

Great vid, great prospective visually and from Thomas reflective thoughts.

    Zeno

  • Those are some suprisingly massive credits.

    Thomas is cool.

  • excellent.

  • all this areas are in London, aren't they?

  • yep

  • Fucking awesome! It's like Mirror's Edge!

  • or it's like you are doing parkour! Something I wish I could do (2 feet of snow and ice! WOO!!!

  • train in all conditions :).

  • nice thoughts

  • reminds me of mirrors edge

  • It is useful for me :) Thank you all :)

  • i feel like that. after training i look back and think of all the stuff and mostly think how did i do that lol. and a really good video :)

  • hmmmm... my mind is racing with possibilities!

  • part 2 is happening soon

  • amazing julie!!!

  • there' still so much more that can be done with this,

  • nice video,really inspiring and i love these first person "Mirror's Edge"-like-cam

  • deserves far more viewers and subscribers

  • Thanks. It was only uploaded about 5 minutes ago.

  • 25 then 30 now
