  • KEEP GOING!

  • lol

  • amazing!!!!

  • @lillolodi Thankyou :)

  • im looking to make a puppet for stop motion, i want it to be really pose-able and i want it to be able to move the puppets jaw for talking and stuff and instead of clay something more latex or rubberized .

  • @DonVares : Sounds like you might want to build a ball and socket, latex puppet. I have 2 videos talking about firstly how to make a basic puppet, and the second is how to make a ball and socket armature. Hope they help.

  • Nice. I have also made a jump rig using wood and joints made using the approach the fellow who made Gator did. They're also useful for armatures. Meaby you should make a tutorial for how you make your jointed armature.

  • Yeah, why not, I might when I get time at the end of this year. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Hey could you send me a message with a list of the things you use to make armatures. I've been trying to find a better way to make some of the characters from Yip Yup. Like how do you make the skin of the dinosaurs? Thanks...

  • very cool armature!! can't wait to see it when it's finished!!

  • Thanks.

I've finshed putting foam on the puppet yestaday and all I need to do is the skin. I hope I can put up some test videos later.

  • its going to be wire

  • Cool.

Most of my puppets are made of wire. It's much easier to build with.

  • nice armature, I still need to get some supplies to make some for Yip Yup

  • Thanks

I hope all goes well for your armature. Is it going to be a ball and socket or wire?

  • your home made armature seems to be quite effective for your legs, nice work!

  • Thanks Mike

Yeah, the motor-bike chain plates with ball bearings works very well as a cheap ball and socket armature.

  • pretty good.

    BTW, nice armature

  • Thanks

This was only really a test of the new armature. I just want to see if the dinosaur could walk and move it's head sidewards.

  • very good!

  • Thanks you. This one was only a hour filming so I was in a rush when I made it. I thought it turned out very well for a trial animation.

  • awesome!

  • Thanks

  • Woohoo!

    A NEW MOVIE!

    :)

  • I'm glad your excited about a new film. Although I must say it might not be finished until the end of this year or next year some time.

  • great armature :)

  • Thank you

  • looking good

  • Thanks Mujawooja
