This is the Japanese version, right? There's an impressive amount of English (in Roman letters) in there, and without knowing what it means would leave fairly big gaps in your understanding of the interface..! Do the Japanese population, as a rule, have a decent base knowledge of our language? If so, that's kinda humbling...

i would play more but i cant beat Hecatoncheir venillis summan and i cant go back words from there cuz i cant beat the robots standing on the bridge and i dont really have great acessesories ether so i think im screwed:( lol

@oshe1oooo On Hecatoncheir, debuff as soon as you start, Heal up, then unleash hell on him. That's about it to him. The Phalanx, yea he's quite a bitch, you may have to shroud to catch him off guard and roflstomp on him to get back. Best place to grind in your situation is @ the beginning of the cave, the hoplites and the bombs, from the enterance to the end(not all the way) of the left path, rinse and repeat. 30-50 mins of grinding is about 60k crystarium depending on how fast you are :)

@ixlyux lol mvm i managed to slip by the Phalanx im in gran pulse now il level up there then come back to Hecatoncheir=)

if you are desperate to beat Hecatonheir just use Vanille as a saboteur and Fang as a sentinel and just keep debuffing and then u can switch back and forth from healer to saboteur without ever worrying about combat, because debuffing raises the gesalt meter fast enough to beat him.

@oshe1oooo a SLOW way to do beat the phalanx is to have Snow in sentinel mode to provoke, have a healer, and one person damaging the phalanx, make sure who can damage also debuff/heal because he phalanx buffs the hoplites and snow may need some extra healing too

okay your set up is saving me from dying agenst the summan but i still run out of time when the bar is about half way full and i still dont stand a chance agenst the phalanx so i might have to start the game over i have no saved games anywhere else but here so theres no other way they have maid this part imposible unless your a really high level this is just pure shit and its fucking pissing me off!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ixlyux: Thanks! I'll have to open up my Crystarium and see if I'm close to it. I'm currently at this bit in the game, and I'm not going any further until Lightning learns that shit! *lol*

It's also crazy how Eden is so far into the game, yet cut scenes and battles in Eden were shown in the very first Final Fantasy XIII trailer! Except the graphics look MUCH better now than they did back then. Eden looks amazing.

@RandomJtv Yea, I would highly recommend farming a crap ton of CP. Enough to the point where your Crystarium is near cap at the end of each Chapter. Seems crazy but it is a must for some of the skills.

So far I don't see much of a use for this skill other then showboating. Though it will probably be better once I turn my Ultima Weapon into Omega and cap it out. I spent 20 hours alone on Pulse. I'm at the end of Eden now about to get to Orphan and I still don't feel prepared.

@ixlyux: You ain't gotta tell me! ;) I had roles in the Crystarium maxed out until it expanded again after beating Bartandelus for the second time.

I went on a levelling up binge after Dhakar in Taejin's tower handed my arse to me on a plate, and I've been stalling the story by levelling up ever since!

Do you get the option to return to Gran Pulse in Eden before you go get Orphan? Because I really wanna head back there to go hustle with some Behemoth's.

@RandomJtv In Eden, nope, there was no teleporter. So far in Orphan I haven't found it, but I did read that there is one here somewhere. :)

If you find a teleporter, please lemme know. *lol* I have a game save in Oerba right after you beat Bartandelus. So if worse comes to worse, I'll just use that save to stick around Gran Pulse.

I'm having a good ol' time building up the CP in Eden though. Lots of enemies to take out. Reminds me of the attack on Balamb garden in Final Fantasy VIII.

The license system sucked, the gambit system sucked, the game felt clunky, the story wasn't anything special, the dubbing sucked and the voice overs were annoying. As an English major it was embarrassing to hear the characters attempts at EME. Yoshitaka didn't do the artwork and Nobuo didn't do the music (besides the theme). So tell me again, you stupid son of a bitch, what made FF12 stand up to FF games like 8 and 9 no less 7 10 and tactics?

i take it your farming material here? i only do that for piscom drops and traps drop here alot quicker from the admantaoise then the ones in grand pulse.

@sprtkes There are save shops in the game. Basically you go there to save, but you can also purchase items and supplies there as well.
