@bobby2759 Yeah, T-Mobile replaced it shortly after with the new behold. It really is a shame 'cause the Memoir is such good quality. Mines lasted me forever (since it came out to now) and the picture quality is great! I love that its not heat sensitive so I can text with my nails.

I agree this memoir phone is very awesome. I had the LG viewty but this memoir is like 10x better in terms of the responsiveness TS and camara. The viewty had 5mp but this memoir blew it away. I also had the HTC My Touch 3g at the same time but decided to keep the memoir,...that's how much I like this phone. If samsung continues to make phones like these I will be customer for life.

Question: I have the samsung eternity and i love it however, I dont like that i cant have longer ringtones.. I had the iphone b4 this and loved that i could have long ringtones.. Hey I got my memoir for only $100. & T-mobile gave me a 300 dollar rebate. If you want it and its too pricy, you guys should go to those dealers that arent the EXACT TMOBILE store. And they have ways to pull some strings to get it cheaper for you.

Does any other 09 phone have an 8MP camera and take some pretty high quality video for a mobile device? I don't believe this phone was intended to take on the iphone. It's a feature phone and not a fully smart phone. The multimedia features on this phone is pretty good.The web browswer works great as it's not your main computer for the Internet. It's a mobile web browswer. I would hope that anyone who uses the web on a phone also has either a laptop or desktop. It's convenience on the go.

Yeah, you can still purchase one even if you are still on your contract, it will just extend your contract another 2 years (it depends on the contract/price you pick). You can always avoid the contract but you will have to pay the full retail price which is $499 =( .

Yeah, you need the data plan to access anything connected to the internet basically (which is almost everything except Calling and Texting).

And no, AIM does not count as Text Messages (you could imagine how bad it would be if it did count LOL).

You really have to go to a T-Mobile store since it is hard to explain through words, but I'll try to explain it the best I can. The touch screen on it requires you to press just a tiny bit more as the iPhone or iPod Touch, but not to a point where it is a lot of pressure.

the laggy-ness in the Samsung Omnia (Verizon) isn't cause of the touchscreen it is because of WinMo 6.1, it tends to slow down touch capabilities a bit. I am pretty sure the Memoir and Omnia use the same time of resistive screen.
