As Christian men we are to only live with and share a bed (literally just sleeping even) with our wife only Anything else is defiling the marriage bed. I am reminded of Galation 5:16 and following. He is right, we tend to rationalize that if we stock up on God so to speak we will be armed to overcome the flesh but it doesn't work. Run the other way, take a cold shower, that works. We underestimate to power the flesh has to thwart our best efforts.

Where in the bible does it say that it cost a lot of money to get married? You don't have to pay for a bib party too get married. So if they have been f years together they can go to their pastor and let him marry them. What youre saying is no excuse for adultery.

Just me, but the "having an attendant" thing seems a little excessive. I hang out with girls all the time (or a girlfriend when I had one) and I have yet to have a problem with any sexually sinful deviations. It is all about self-respect and self-control, both of which I have excessive amounts of.

I don't think God condemns members of the opposite sex being with one another except within the bounds of marriage.
