Don't know why, I love everything Weller does, but this song holds a special place for me. Such a raw and artless expression of a feeling we've all had for someone at one point, but weren't able to express.

perhaps it might have been written with his daughter in mind, but i have seen him dedicate it to De on stage as he looked lovingly into her eye's, sentimental , which is unusual for Weller. its a good tune any way's !
