Re comment below - "it's a hoax" . You've misunderstood - the students are commenting on Rationale software, readily available and used widely.
The students were also working on another version of Rationale - bickr which was not released. No hoax or conspiracy involved!

Ben Lofting software Engineer of Rationale, mailed me the following on more information about Rationale light and Bicker:
"This video and the products mentioned in it was created by a group of university students as part of a software engineering project we were involved in. Neither Rationale Lite nor Bickr reached a standard where we could release them to the public. There were really only a proof of concept.
Bottumline : Its a hoax!!!
