Yes, only Elesis, Lire, and Arme are available to start, and they're all female. We might get a male starting character if they decide to release Sieghart as a starter like they did in the Korean version.

This game seems to be maple story with 3d animation.
The backdrops, squeaky noises, and "Cute" atmosphere bring me to this conclusion.

And also it reminds me of Megaman X - Command mission for some reason. For anyone who knows that game.
