Merci for the French lyrics. Why do all songs in French sound sexy no matter how melancholy the meaning? (I'm not really sad, just angry with what is happening to my country.)
Grzegorz, Charles Trenet was VERY handsome. I love his sultry voice and this beautiful song. But it has a SAD tone and these lovely photos must be of Paris in Autumn. Fall depresses me. It is very dreary in NY today and I WANT April in Paris, Chestnut trees in blossom and that Fabulous French drizzle or a summer Parisian evening with couples doing the tango on the embankments along the Seine :-) Merci for the Chanson.
Tres triste but in a beautiful way. And then there's that comic surprise of 1:40. I'm having a bit of a problem with those plastic tunnels, though. Are they leading to the entrance of the Louvre? Or to the secret hiding place of the wine that even now awaits our lips?
