If anyone thought that these extreme measures taken was in any way effective in keeping dangerous people/items off the planes, I'd agree with what the TSA is doing. Sadly there are a lot of stats and reports on how easy it is for people to smuggle whatever they want onto a plane, and it seems like right now the TSA is about as effective as lawmakers saying that people should own a gun permit as a way of stopping criminals carrying firearms. I agree with you, I think that the TSA did not go too far; I have, actually, from the very beginning of this TSA junk, have thought it to be very productive, because it doesn't really hurt anyone, like physically.
