I didn't want you to take an offence, I was just surprised how much you were sure about a wrong assertion. Just a history info: in all ex-Soviet states/republics vast majority of urban people spoke Russian, because they were educated in Soviet school system. Ukraine use to be a Soviet republic.
@MultiNational3Fish it's not Roma..in fact not entirely gipsy(because this is the real name of that people's language)..most of it is Romanian (no relation with Rroma)
i'd like to know what is that SONG in the end and who's the WOMAN singing. i can't believe they don't say it anywhere on the internet or in Gogol Bordello's website. I'm really disappointed! >/ so unfair!
@jagathehut The Romanian language is something completely different from the Romani (Gypsy) language. And BTW most of the text is in Russain (maybe Ukrainian) -- I can't make difference.
@calangabranca jus the last phrases are in the language of Gipsies..(politicaly correct people would require to call them Rroma, but even gipsies don't call themselves Rroma)
And J.U.F. it is Jewish-Ukrainian Foundation
