  • Remember I was here.Thai 3:00PM 4/19/2011

  • shakey and weak.

  • So much valuable information offered up so freely! Too often I see teachers who don't really offer good info to the world, they hide it or keep it to themselves if they have it at all. Applying Pa Kua techniques to modern day questions is unique.

  • Too much grabbing in this video...a technique which ties up your hands. Just a laying on of one's hands (with arm weight) against an attackers arm or body...achieves the same result ! Grabbing is old school...old hat.

  • @Hazamayakiba laying ones arm means commitment which is what internalists want because they can change at any moments notice. it really depends on the situation

  • I'm not saying he sucks. Note that I'm not saying that. But the demo sucks. At 7:15 the dummy attacker attacked with crossed forearms. There are no sincere attacks here. It doesn't have to be an actual unscripted fight, but the attacker could have been defeated if the defender just stood there. Plus the defender likes to hear his own voice far too much.

  • Very nice. Thank you.

  • You're a great teacher, Wilson, see you next Saturday!

  • I appreciate you making this. Internal Martial Arts needs more videos like this and less that focus on the mythical elements and the legends. These systems are scientific and highly effective, but many people never attempt to get to the center of them. Videos like this help.

  • Agreed. Thank you. I feel I learned several things from watching this and will watch it several times again to see what more I can pick up. Thanks again.

  • this was taken from a 40 minute instructional DVD that goes into a lot more depth on the subject of takedowns and counters.

  • Where can I get a hold of this?

    Thanks!

  • Excellent video, That smack around 6:08 is the highlight.lol..

    NIce work

  • thank you for preserving this great treasure

    of martial arts and science.
