i saw this band at sxsw in austin in i think it was 96. they came on after the show we were there to see and we were BLOWN AWAY! if you ever have a chance to see them live DO IT! any band that can make a cutting saw sound like musical, emotional bliss is aces in my book. ah, and the violin...

@sevastra444 Lucky! I think that's the first and only performance they've done in the US. Hope they come back to Austin someday or I'll never get to see them live :(

@viktor0590 i just realized i put 96...i meant 06. :-/ oops! i would LOVE to see them again.  it was funny because everyone there was there for Sage Francis (underground hiphop) and they all looked hesitant to stay when they started pulling out saws and violins. but when they started playin, everyone (including myself) was just swept away and awe struck. good times.

I don't know anything about the band. But i liked this song (and the video, of course)! It reminds me of Bjork and Sigur Ros. Gonna check out the band. Good Stuff!
