They're both great (in my opinion) bands that play similar music.

It's going to sound similar, but I wouldn't say identical. It never even crossed my mind until I saw this video, and even then I'm still not that convinced.

ADTR blows cock, they suck hard @ composing. It's the same basic shit over and over again.  I could play their songs blindfolded on the spot without having known them before hand (I've done it before just for the laughs, to see). Bayside is WITHOUT A FUCKING DOUBT one of the BEST, if not THE best in the alternative scene. They mix it up a hell of a lot better than any other band that you can name, and they DON'T suck at playing their instruments. Proof=I don't hearing ADTR soloing.

ADTR's new record was produced by Chad Gilbert from New Found Glory (he also produced their last album, Homesick), while Bayside's upcoming album is produced by Gil Norton. Chad Gilbert and Gil Norton are two different producers.
