It sounds so beautiful. Have you used something to make the sound sound more echoey than it actually is? My penny whistles and flutes and recorders never sound that rich and echoey.
Thanks for the comment. The recording was made in an empty room with no carpet so it had a natural echo, no effects were added, even the foot tapping is all my own work :)
Where did you get that quenacho with the mouthpiece? I'm trying to learn and it would be so much easier with that instead of having to focus so much on blowing on the reed.
its actually a wooden low whistle in G major. I got mine from mack hoover whistles, you can find him on his web site. I don't think he makes them in wood any more but i guess you could ask.

Hey, how difficult was it for you to get this good? I was thinking it would be a nice thing for me to pick up, because I get lonely in traveling a lot.
I've been playing for a few years now, the penny whistle is one of those instruments thats relatively easy to learn but you can spend a life time trying to master it. i find it very rewarding and i'm always discovering new things about it and of course theres always a new tune to play.
