  • Phil Collins plays everything on this track (piano, Prophet Synthesizers, drums, percussion, vocoder and all lead and backing vocals) except for bass guitar which was played by John Giblin. This is a great song but very short but proves why Phil was a great singer/songwriter/musician.

  • this song gave birth to the amazing pito's "feelin" and trickski's "pill collins"

  • The only part I hate is 2:30.

  • Should be the theme song for the Occupiers!

  • The perfect song for the perfect emotion...whatever that is

Phil will always be true to my heart.

  • 1:06 ouh là là ! ça choque. c'est rare une photo de phil comme celle ci !

  • I love this song, you've got to remember though that Phil Collins was going through a divorce when he wrote the songs in Face Value, and a lot of it reflect that, I think this is one of them! It has a personal significance to me as well, although not a divorce, but something similar, still a good song though!

  • MOVING? OMG. Call two men and a truck !

  • 30 years later, it's still frustrating that this song is so short! With all of Phil's demos floating around out there, I wish someone could find this one. Thanks a lot for an excellent video Nikola!

  • @Bentom86 Check out the Idjut Boys re-edit. They do it proper justice!

  • I love the photo at 0:36!

  • beasting

  • Another gem! Thanks Nikola!

  • Love this song! Face Value is great!

  • porque nunca vi ao vivo essa musica?

  • phil collins NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @caspergoober What's with this? Is this a very dumb, ignorant and childish way of saying you're not a fan of Phil's work? Or a very strange way of saying you like it? And, if you're not a fan, why visit this video?

  • One of the best Phil songs ever, one of the most personnel

  • The best!!!!!

  • wow. i can't believe this is on youtube. awesome. simply awesome. nice video to go along with an awesome song.

  • I love this song! The end is so special, I always have to think that someone is leaving me and I am still at the same place watching the otherone leaving :(

Thats why I have to listening this song over and over =D

  • I think that 1:08 is from the Genesis Three Sides Live tour. I saw an interview where on one of the shows in Holland the crowd boo the band and Phil has words.

  • @EtemTatar Ah I see. Makes sense now.

  • This song makes me feel soooo nostalgic, I have seen the Man in concert in Sydney a couple of times, He is one Absolutely Talented, Soulfull, Spiritfilled, Intelligent, Kind, Funny.......OK, ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS GUY, May He Be Blessed for All of his Life x

  • Great. One of my favourite albums. Can you put Thunder and Lightning on? There only seems to be a live version on YouTube at the moment. Thanks.

  • The mans a legend. Simple.

  • Wonderful song , beautiful arrengements. Reminds me of an arrangement of Jeff Lynne of E.L.O. For me they are the kings of composition a pop songs. Phil at his best. I love the voice he had then in 1980's, it was a more broken, soulful voice. He was the man then. No one could be compared then and as you can see the actual music panorama it doesn't seem to appear such a talent in the near future.

  • Sir Phil Collins The Great

  • I love his falsetto and the vocoder he uses on this.

  • One of my all time favorite songs by Phil Collins from my all time favorite album!

  • One of my favorite Phil Collins songs.

  • Respond to this video...this is one of the greatest songs ive ever heard its beast

  • Heard this at a bar last night. It made me dance . . .

  • One of my "Face Value" favourite songs.

  • This song is one of my all time favorites Phil Collins ever did and appears on his best solo album which was Face Value. "I'm Not Moving" has Phil on everything except for bass guitar which was played by John Giblin (who was in Simple Minds in the 1980s and played with Phil in Peter Gabriel's band in 1979 and in Brand X with Phil). Phil on this song sang all of the vocal parts himself and played the drums, piano, synthesizers (a Prophet 5 to be precise) and vocoder.

  • I think it's a shame this song is only 2mins 30secs long, if only it was longer! Nothing wrong with playing it 3 or 4 times in a row though!
