Apparently they are going to get back in a rehearsal studio in September. Russel has also said that he's been writing/working on 7 or 8 songs that he plans to put forward for Bloc Party to use.

To me, songs like this, So Here We Are, and Hunting For Witches perfectly demonstrate how the two guitar line up should be exploring ways in which the different parts can compliment each other, rather than the same old boring chord progression with pentatonic noodling over the top.
