  • nice to see that people from nice neighborhoods can work with their hands too, good job bro!

  • ...fantastique!

  • @danjwant what size pipes have you used ???

  • 0__0 friend I really liked the model could not spend the plans to make one up out please motor scooter? more or less than what is your budget?

  • Hey, that is a very nice prototype, what type of engine is that?, I'm building a project, I need your advice!!!

  • Nice build.

    mj

  • Tell that little punk kid to go home to his mommy!

  • You urgently need to extend the floor tray. Hit a bump, your foot hits the ground gets dragged back and ground to half it's thickness. Ouch!

  • nice build, but if those are 2 peice dolly rims, they will break off of their hubs... upgrade to something stronger, i found out the hard way that they cant take the g forces and crashed my go kart into a fire hydrant!

  • @ismokewead420 Thanks man. Yeh they are and I have replaced them now, well a long time ago actually aha. Although this was a project build, not so much and kart for taking corners fast. It hasn't really been riden anywhere other than up the road just to test it out. Thanks anyway :)

  • @ismokewead420 ouch! are you ok

  • @ismokewead420 LOL you got off lucky I smashed a bmw because of those stupid 2 piece rims!!

  • What?! Not barefooted?!? ; )

  • 0:51 "can i has a go on that wussie?" LMAO

  • @cacneaunit6 'Can I have a go on that with you' aha

  • @danjwant how many cc's is this?

  • @cacneaunit6 125

  • @danjwant which country do u live in and isnt that illegal or something?

  • @mr1000rx try turning the wheel around then it will go the right way lol

  • you shoudl put up plans i fancyed building one :)

  • I built one of these but it only went in reverse!

  • put like a dimon plate floor, and that would be more than awesome!!! :)

  • @ADRENALINE567 Plan to build a bigger, better, faster one soon and I'm doing exactly that :D

  • @danjwant hahah nice :D

  • @danjwant what gear ratio do u use? and how would u find out the ratio?

  • @cacneaunit6 Well actually I cheated and used an automatic gear shifter. So as the revs increase, the gear ratio increases so speeds up. But the standard gear ratio is 5:1 for a smallish engines and 4:1 or even 3:1 for bigger engines. Then again it all depends on wheel diameter as that'll act as a gear ratio. The smaller the wheels the bigger the gear ratio can be.

  • @danjwant good, im going to use a automatic too.

  • Nice welding

  • Nicevwe

  • Very clean looking, great work! I never though of using the rear of a scooter for such a project... very clever!

  • I got one just like yours, only the front wheels are larger and independent suspension. I built last year and still use it today :D

  • Man just when I thought it was ok to come back to youtube I see the safety whineys are still around. Great build man, I plan to do something similar. Bought a honda cg125, so I will be flying at the safety whineys despair.

  • @ZS6JMP Oh, the irony! You're whinning about the whiners. You could have ignored them like me, a smart man.

Don't you mean CR125? Unless you live in Japan.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX It is quite ironic now thinking about it. Must admit I hate the youtube safety police. It is a CG 125 engine

  • that thing is sweet on suggestion tho get better front wheels the centers break out of thos around turns

  • hit a bump, foot slips off, goes under, bye-bye leg....

  • Nice job. Put a floor pan under it to make it safer.

  • that area looks like where they filmed harry potter

  • that larea looks like where they filmed harry potter

  • cool its like a can am spyder

  • Im plannin on building one like this, what engine did you use and how much did it cost?

  • @Narf030 Its a 50cc, bought off a mate, all for £30 so a great deal. Good luck on your project.

  • @danjwant I think that is GY6

  • how much did it cost to build frame?

  • how much to build frame?

  • @1337bman Well 3mm thick wall, mild steel box was about £17 for 7.5M. I spend £34 on the actual material however there's the welder, paint, fixings, support plates so it all adds up. So all in all I bought two units of metal fairly cheaply for £34 and still had some spair. The spair lengths of box will be used to support the frame as comments have stated. It'll look a bit like a triangular inner support unit, strengthening the front to the rear, as well as pulling in the sides.

  • MY brother (literally) why will dad not let me ride it ¬¬ and why havent you gone on it for over a month or two :L

  • Dude - great project! But - I would make the main frame rails bigger, maybe some rectangular stock - while it's a neat design, I would bet it would not take much to bend and or crack the frame at the middle (front to back). One good bump and it would fold. Just my opinion. Otherwise - great work!

  • holy shit only 50 cc!?!? man i thought it was a 125cc, im plannin on makin the exact same one but with a 125 instead, but where did you get the rear wheel assembaly

  • @smallenginemods Yep, 50cc packs enough power. 125 may be a little OTT, but give it a go definately. Make sure the frame is strong and solid though. The engine block was straight off a ped and the frame was built to fit.

  • @smallenginemods i have seen 50cc motors that make 12-13 hp now in terms a Briggs 148cc 4stoke is 5.25hp or is you compared the hp you would need like 300cc to be equal hp

  • is that a scooter engine lol

  • nice how much hp, cc and speeds

  • @2012borracho ... Well not sure on the HP, but it's a 50cc and can hit 40+ mph. Accelerates great too.

  • @danjwant nice

  • Looks brill, well done, would love to take it around a track, :-)

  • 100% Homemade and home-thought, no DIY kit.

  • That's pretty nifty. Home made? or a DIY Kit?
