@StKetoiL - of course it depends on track and driver!!! You put the same professional race driver round donnington in a stock BMW E36 M3 1995 (which I absolutely love and would pick over the Lotus quite piossibly for myself !!!) i'mf afraid to say the Lotus 111R would batter it sadly. You give it an autobahn the M3 would batter it, they both great cars the 111R is suprisingly fast around a track. It'll kill the M3 round the Nordscheliffe too and of course the M3 was built for this!!
@StKetoiL - in fact these 2 cars round the nordschleiffe the M3 E36 and the Lotus 111R are like the arch nemesis. A driver called "Horst von Saurma" who got the record in a production BMW E36 round the nordschieffe of 8:22 also did it in slower elise with the slower in 8:25 with the old rover 1.8 k series engine this elise is the series 2 which has the DOHC Toyota ZZ which has more power! So in conclusion they both lap ring in the same time! awesome!
Thats so slow my quad turbo 9 liter Dodge Viper can easily smoke this thing

I own a Bmw e36 M3 1995 and ive just smoke one tonight at ICar 1 4 mile its really not that fast (stock)...
