That voice still sounds exhiliarating.the comment about the backround singers is ridiculous. The great thing about the PBS specials is that the combination of the background singers and the orchestra bring us back as close as possible to the original sound and arrangement. Awesome.

Notice how Ronnie likes to use pudgy back-up singers? You do not want hot back-ups is you are a Diva! You will also notice that Mariah Carey does the same thing; because she feels a bit threatened by back-ups who can take care of their bodies without blowing up every other year. But then there is Tina Turner! Check out Tina's videos; always young, ultra-hot back-ups. Why? Because Tina knew she was hotter, sexier, and moved better than any back-up out there, so why not enhance her act!
