Fantastic video! btw my mate applied this successful weight reduction plan called: Impact 790 Diet and reduced 16 pounds within just a month. I don't remember the actual website just Google it.
tho I agree with all the major points in this video, I have to point out that peoples stomaches/immune systems just arent able to cope with some of the things that animals can. just because a calf can suck on manure covered teats and be healthy doesn't mean you can. dogs drink from puddles, and wild animals eat rotten meat... i consider neither to be safe. please use common sence :)
If you live in the western would you might not be the best qualified to say. Most of us have a depressed immune system. From toxins in the food, water, food packaging (BPA), pesticides, growth hormone, prescription drugs, vitamin D deficiency. All these factors weigh on the immunity of almost everyone.
In any case, her point was that the milk inhibit the growth of pathogens found on a muddy manure spattered teat.
I believe in raw milk, too, but she convinces no one by using false examples of "manure covered" teats. Cows are not inherently filthy creatures who allow themselves to get covered in manure! That only happens in factory farm conditions (and even then, only the worst). There is no reason to bend the truth with false premises. The real science should be enough!
@hachiman2012 : raw milk has a huge symbiotic community working together, mainly there's live lactase and a number of other cultures and bacteria to aid in breaking down the lactose so your body doesn't have to work so hard to do all the digesting or to absorb unwanted pathogens.
I have read her book (Nourishing Traditions) and I feel better, less tired and I have never had such a mental clarity like now ! I am healthy - I am happy ! Thank you, Mrs. Fallon !
@Vonderplanitz Me too! I havn't found raw milk in my area or grass fed meat, but by reducing unproperly propered grains and eating lots more saturated fat and some bone broths I have not been ill once! Also I am never lathargic, don't get bloated and am leaner (not that I was fat).
Fortunately, as small segment of the population know that real milk is best. So I can buy raw milk from pasture raised cows. And it is more than half the price of milk bought in the stores. And my re-usable containers will last a lifetime, whereas buying milk creates a container to be wasted.
I could never drink processed milk as it gave me acne and other problems. I have no problems with raw milk and after many month of drinking it, I can attest that it is good for me.
I am an American living in the densest farm region of Norway. Most of the locals think and buy processed milk in stores because they think that it is healthier, because they think raw milk is dangerous and can spread disease. And it is technically not legal to sell raw milk directly to the public and i you want to sell raw milk you must have a special permit, but most do not because the demand is low.
It would be great if consumers could have a choice. Obtaining raw milk where I live (Montana) is difficult and involves driving a long distance to obtain the milk from someone in the cow share program. My solution has been to drink kifir even though the downside is that it is still pasteurized.
I agree with the whole food concept, however, I must say that we did buy raw milk at amish for a while and one day several of my children started throwing up from it. I think it was roughly 15- 30 minutes after drinking it. I had not drank it. The vomiting did not recur. Now, I think the milk got to warm at one point, however, still something to think seriously about. My husband is from a village in the east and they always boiled the milk that was brought to them fresh from the cow.
Thanks for sharing these. I saw Sally recently and am on board with the thinking. I just went to the recommended site and ordered the DVD...can't wait to see the rest now!

If a person suffers from candida and imbalanced bacteria doesnt the lactose in the raw milk feed the yeast/fungus and any pathogenic bacteria?

I tried raw milk for the first this past week and I've noticed I have far less gas. I just wish I could afford it on a regular basis.

@tiggie1975 Not everyone experiences this benefit..... check out 06:48 :D

@tiggie1975
Try this math to see if you can afford raw milk.
1. Greater absorption of nutrients including calcium and magnesium
2. Improved digestion, less need for antacid
3. No need for probiotics
4. No need (in many cases) for lactase tablets
5. Less food consumed due to better digestion
If your experience gives you these benefits (it did for me) then offset the savings against the extra price of the milk.
I didn't mention Growth Hormone and Antibiotics in pasteurised milk
